  4. Pass me the sick bag. We always laugh at the sterotypical ones out there; flowery skirts, 80's hair, sandals (socks and sandals for men), gross gross gross. :laugh1:
  5. Right, I need to re-engine our TP100 wee chipper. Originally had V-Twin B&S Vanguard 18hp which blew and was replaced in a hurry by a woefully underpowered Lister Petter AA1 diesel, rated a 1.5hp but disgracefullly cranked up to attempt to pass off as acceptable. All this pre our ownership. Sure it'll chip upto 1" but after that it's abuse all the way and overheats. Not fair on the ol lump. Need something like a LP LV2 or AC2, AP2, other twin or Kubota etc, iro 15hp diesel or 18hp petrol. Anything sitting around, surplus etc, would be interested to buy...

  8. To whoever wants it in the timber business; I'm not an oil retailer but am an approved stockist now. Whilst I can do it cheaper than Opie I can't yet do free P&P so have to see how it works out. Obviously, very low sales volumes to start with...
  9. Well, yeah RL is the ultimate, end of. I became an authorised distributor for Redline earlier in the year. 30 years of racing did it to me! I was being tongue in cheek re the oil and temp altho there would deffo be a difference, small but something. The exhaust might even be hotter if the reduced friction means less component heat absorption and thus more in the exhaust; difficult to call but would be me kind of lab experiment Alf? Obviously not as dunno who Alf is...
  10. Run cooler with proper oil! Saves melting stuff!
  11. Bring it into the house. I couldn't leave a brand new wheelbarrow out in the wind and rain, let alone a JB M500, thousands of pounds worth just left out like that?!!!
  12. Lose the Stihl HP oil asap.
  13. Got to be indoors surely! Garden shed at the very least with some ground security.
  14. So are you saying time vs temperature is what matters in dpf world?
  15. Fire Brigade used to do that (in the 30's and 40's anyway).
  16. Sounds high; £600 here
  17. Come on! Does an olympic sprinter race without warming up first?! Need some old school mechanic to tell you; constant short trips / on-off duty cycle is BAD!
  18. Oh dear. Lots of Biblical Scholars on here again. exegesis - In the parable of the ten minas, why does the king kill his enemies? - Christianity Stack Exchange Very good post. I quite agree with you; nowt wrong with your point there imo. Ok.
