  1. Hi every one just looking for a little help i live in high peak area and am after hiring a stump grinder! any one now of any one round were i am that i can? thanks treerat
  2. some low life has timed it right for the aa show! i hope there gear turns up will be keeping an eye out
  3. how do reg just wondering what weight the twiin tubbed one is? can it be situed with one guy?
  4. i've got the stein waterproofs and there brilliant! there breathable light wait and 100% waterproof! ( seen a lad get jetwashed i them and he was dry underneath!) all so as a bonus you can still climb in them! a good all round waterproof for on the floor or up in tree
  5. i had the th stretch airs but the zip just kept busting wide open and its not right having all that sawdust in there! i tried 6 different pairs im in the Hiflex now and i find them the better pant to climb in! thing is every climber is different with different climbing styles! best thing to do buy and try is your best option
  6. get your self a male goose they want come in if they see him in there they can rip a fox to bits and there quick on there feet
  7. we got lads that do work like that round near us! we call them ladder technictions(mind the smelling)! every thing is done of a ladder & more so advertice as having 25 years exp!

  9. the justice system just dont work! for example were i live a lad broke in to 70 cars in one day sat navs laptops car stereos any thing he could get! the police caught him and the judge let him off! i think its all messed up how smack heads get away with every thing!!!!!! how f****D up is that

  11. take em back i had a load of problems with the zips on them they replaced 6 pairs before we decided hi-flex was the way to go! the stretch are a good hard wearing pant just some bits let them down
  12. were there expert went wrong was he worked for the council so not him doing the priceing!(no offence to any council lads)
  13. i now what ya mean about more coming than going about 5 have just set up round me and the work they carry out is of a very poor standard, in fact think my dog could do better lol
  14. im not sure weather its just me but there seems to be so many wanabe surgeons starting up that think if they buy a £70 saw from B&Q and a ladder, with no experience no tickets think they can do our job! there's been a few jobs that we were ment to have done and lost to thes wannabe's doe to them been cheaper-well they would be not the right gear no insurance no tax no nothing! is there any one else having thes problems? treeratclimber

  16. brilliant bit of kit will be looking forward to seeing them at fletcher stewarts to buy! looks like it will take a lot of wear and hard work going of your videos and your rep for large dismantles
  17. i had the stretch air jacket found it brilliant apart from getting a little to warm in it time to time and getting wet in it so i bought the stein jacket as its 100% waterproof ( yes it is get washed one of the groundies in it) and i never climb in my stretch air jacket any more find the stein coat more breathable and a better fit and at the price its a fantastic coat
  18. try batesons trailers they fabricate you one to the spec you want with what you want on it
  19. all the questions with been really light but can some one of a 11 stone throw a 660 round all afternoon and handle the timber of a large fell? im 15 stone and i've never had any worries getting out on limbs for a 20% reduction! think most people can out there long as they have the confidence in them selfs and there gear
  20. we have a small jcb loadal in the yard brilliant bit of kit would be lost with out it
  21. i've tried it they go mouldy the vented bags are brilliant i now there £3.50 each but we have had a fall session out of them and only lost a couple of bags through splitting! they do them in 3 different sizes the small ones are a great money earner and really easy to deliver!
  22. how do all hope ya all had a good christmas and that santa brought you all nice new toys im just after a bit of advice on pants! i've been useing the stretch air pants which have been a bit disapointing cause im allways splitting the zip on them and its not nice having a crotch full of dust i keep taking them back to why i bought them from and they keep giving me a new pair put its starting to get a bit of a fag now, so was just after a bit of advice of what other pants people are using! cheers and all the best for the new year

  24. it dont look to big of a job i would do it cut my lose's and make it up on the next few jobs and all ways book 2 groundies on these jobs
