  1. hey, just wondered if there was any more info about the landy yet ?

  2. Thanks every one for the advice, i think i am going to do the uni (landscape design) then go back to an arb qualification after that just to expand my horizons a little but i want to finish up in the arb industry. Just going through the loan forms for uni at the moment and you need a bloody uni degree just to understand them !!!
  3. well to be honest its more about the money for me ,dont get me wrong i love working outdoors and nature but driving a forklift for a supermarket chain just aint paying the bills so i'm doing a few years in education to get a decent trade/money just dont want to make a mistake at this point as this is probably gonna be my last chance at education, that degree in forestry does sound good though ! i think i would be happy doing either pratical or managerial really, gonna have to really look into this one, thanks
  4. i tried a bit of forestry in Scotland and got a bit bored with the same old tree same old forest same old felling cuts lol , would i be condemning myself to a life of forestry with that qualification or is it more diverse than it sounds ? need to look into that one !
  5. hi all, wondering what to do next, having done the nc arb last year and the nd this year what do i do next, do i go to uni for 3 years and be able to branch out with job prospects but end up with normal uni debt or do i do the professional diploma in arboriculture which is a one year course but will cost the best part of £2k as i understand and only be able to specialise in arb. proper dilemma, any advise or criticism welcome

  15. thanks for the replies guys much appreciated, got a rough idea now. but also should i get a proper carving bar or just use a 14" normal bar ?
  16. Hi all, Carving - How much roughly should be charged for carving a small animal about 8 to 10 inch by 12 to 15 inch. per carving or for 10 to 12 of them ? I have no idea about pricing, they dont have to be perfect just so its recognizable as the/a animal. Any help much appriciated thanks.
