  17. i came up with somthing around £2000/2500 based on £100 per tree. its an easy site and the trees are a boundry between two fields so nothing to break , easy access aswell, i think 5 - 7 days depending on the weather, so does that price seem fair or a bit steep ?
  18. been asked to quote for 25 willows all about 30/40 ft wants all of them pollarded to about 15/20 ft , should i price as a job lot or per tree, some of them are single stem and some have about 10 stems, all logs to be left there and chopped up ready for the fire and all brash to be chipped to mulch. any help would be much appreiciated as never done a job this big before cheers Jay
  19. made a practice one today, need to refine it a bit !
  20. the bloke just spiked a tree to remove some baby birds to tag
  21. R.I.D.D.O.R - reporting of incidents disease's and DANGEROUS OCCURRENCE'S regulations, says we should report near misses to the HSE, which i am in favour of, i work for a large green supermarket and one day badly hurt my hand (trapped between two very heavy objects and think i broke a finger but didn't go hospital, i know i know i should of done !!!) and had to argue the point to get it put in the accident book let alone try and get a near miss reported, apparently its to much hassle to put accidents in the book !!! i agree that the more is reported the better the chance for a change the less chance of an accident but some people seem to think it doesn't apply to them or they don't need to !!!
  22. if there wearing on one side ie inside/outside is that something to do with toe/caster/camber prob the later
