Hi there Mat, i have finally got around to measuring the second block of poplar, and i estimate that there is about 115m3. However i am not as sure how acurate it is as the brambles were waist high!!

I have taken a number of photos so that you can see the outstanding quality. If i can get my phone to talk to the computer, then i can e-mail them to you, or i can text them direct to you phone.

Having just re-read the post about the lightning boots, i have now reliesed that you wanted a personal message. It is now probably too late, but i would be interested in testing equipment in the future. I used to work for a climbing shop, and regularly tested and reviewed equipment.
