  1. :lol:It's cancelled cos Franks mum said he can't go out without a vest on and he don't wanna look like a woofter infront of his mates so the whole thing is off.....
  2. Sunday the 27th 10am at the Bredhust Bell public house. Be prepared for a mile or two hike into the woods. Maybe a pint or two back at the Bell when we've finished. The Bell - Google Maps
  3. A slight change of plan because there is no longer anywhere to park at Boxley Woods so we'll go to Bredhurst instead.
  4. Touche:confused1:That's not valid criticism.
  5. Another way of extending the life of a 200 is to buy an AMA and use it for the smaller jobs such as connie hedge topping. On jobs like that I take the 200 incase the AMA lets me down but it aint yet so the 200 has a break and therefore lasts longer.
  6. Got the perfect place! Boxley woods, on top of the North Downs with some 200ft cliffs for a bit of abseiling thrown in for good measure. Sunday 27th of this month. Who's up for it?
  7. A scene from brokeback mountain:confused1: What's brokeback mountain Frank, a film or something:confused1:
  8. I've just taken on a bit of fencing, not because I need to but because it makes a nice change. I used to advertise for fencing when I first started up to make ends meet but tree work took over. Dont see a problem with it tbh. I'm looking forward to doing something different.
  9. Good idea, you norverners will get scared in the woods at night. I can see it now, all of you bundled into one tent and crying until Frank says "Suck yer thumbs lads, it works for me " then one by one you nod off......
  10."Why do they sing about face cream anyway"
  11. Plippy's pub would be called the 'Dog n Bone On'.
  12. I'm gonna report him to the RSPCA. I might get some pens and a hat.....
  13. But you didn't did you. Instead you went away and reported them. Oh well obviously some people have different standards to me.
  14. I'm in Kent mate and as much as I'd love to see just how good you are I have a multitude of blokes nearby that are willing to work for far less and are screaming out for work..... Sorry mate but like I said in my first post "Sign of the times".
  15. Jesus wept Brodie, what sets you apart from all the other qualified and experienced people that call me weekly and are willing to work for £70 a day?
  16. You'll always be looking for someone Johnny, main reason being you're too tight to pay a proper wage...
  17. Grow up mate!!! who mentioned fighting.... Oh yeah, you did......
  18. Maybe I'm just old fashioned and expect everyone to live up to my standards. I can remember 'grassing' on my older brother and my dad clumping him then me aswell for being a grass and as a result I've never ever been able to stitch someone up without trying to sort it out with them first.
  19. Dunno. All I know is that I can't stand sneaks and imo treequip is a sneak.
  20. Yeah of course you're right ad, happened to me when I worked in a cycle shop. The owner sent in one of his friends to see how I re-acted to a situation. I left under my own steam shortly afterwards when I found out what had been set up behind my back.... Never could stand sneaky people.
  21.:lol:Trouble is Plippy will have that aswell.
  22. People that dont address the problem first hand and then go on to stitch other people up are my problem..... Then on top of that spout off about what they'd gained out of it is my problem.
  23. :lol:You gotta admit though Ian, it is a tad underhand.
