A good friend of mine was killed when a roadside tree fell onto a car he was travelling in, so it’s quite an emotive subject for me. People who don’t take responsibility for roadside trees they own get my back up to say the least. I don’t think it’s unprofessional in the slightest to point them in the right direction. That’s not the point. Any cretin who prioritises a hedge trim over a dangerous tree (for the same price) is undeserving of any of what’s left of my professionalism.

Jules, I’m talking about the second scenario where the tree is in imminent danger of falling into a busy road. The neighbours elm I would just give my opinion and move on.
