Not bringing the mood down, but it is disgusting Les that your lad has to pick up litter. What the actual f is wrong with people? Tufty Club was 50 years ago. Everyone is an eco-warrior. We’ve got a great bunch of young un’s in our own very village who do the same, but it’s disheartening to see the black bags of crap pile up. I really, really hate litter. Transit and Fiesta are full of crap until clearout because I won’t ever have crap chucked out. I have broken 2 windscreens this year of people who don’t share my views, one on a garage forecourt with full cctv. One was a traveller, but that could be coincidence. The other was a similar shitbag who didn’t fancy getting out of the vehicle when I went full ‘litter mental’ mode.

Steady on Dave, me first. Steven, answer the £1m chipper question first. I’m not taking sides, you and Johnson never agree, I’ve had rows with both of you before, but like to think I’m pretty unbiased. Sometimes, just sometimes, someone says something that makes you revaluate your position and see their point of view. No shame in it, you know I value your opinion.

There are too many lifestyle tossers driving double cabs, but as Alex says, it’s entirely up to them what they drive. They are already taxed to buggery doing 30mpg instead of the 50mpg they could be getting from a more appropriate vehicle. Reeves is just kicking working people who actually need 4WD, decent towing and crew/tool space. I’d get an extra/king cab instead of double, but I have a wife who works hard, does well, and has her own vehicle which can ferry about a family of 5 and 2 labradors. Not everyone has that luxury, so a DC makes perfect sense.

Steven that is flawed logic. By your rationale if the price of a chipper went up to a million pounds we could simply factor that in and pass on the increase to our customers.

Just by chance I have a pair of Peltor X4P3 useless outer shells for sale. First £44.90 takes them.

You know when your muffs get really tatty and minging you can replace the inners for not a lot of money with a hygiene kit? About £12. I took mine apart and they were rancid. Binned all the filth, cleaned up the shells because a hygiene kit was on the way. The thing is it didn’t fit. You see the white bit on the muffs? Don’t bin that, especially on bin day. You will need it. Skyland to the rescue, new muffs ordered. Lesson learned.
