  1. 1928 tt jon or wait till the forst 8 tt comes out,Tw won't be doing one on a TT that's a pretty safe bet.
  2. My qc was a good little machine but I wouldn't have another, a few bits fell off through vibration and it was a nightmare to service even changing g the oil is a pig. If I was stopping at 750kg it would be a tw230 over 750 forst st8.
  3. Nah i would go 8" mate, only for the fact that your over 750kg so may as well go bigger or get 750kg 6" my st6 is v good.
  4. I would go forst st8 or gm 190 . Just my opinion there are a lot of good machines out there Inc the new Tw, and there British.
  5. Mine is an early one and has had 3 clutch drums and bearings, the last one a metal one and it's still not usable, biggest piece of crap I have ever bought.

  9. Mine is an early one I think, must be 2 years old ish and is a great little pruning tool, also been v reliable
  10. Try the 190 gm you might be surprised,it looks a well thought out machine but have never used one.
  11. I would say you need to go to a min if 8" jon as going to a 190 over a 6" won't make much difference, I would go 8-9" .
  12. Plus the 220 I guess, so what's the price of a 1928 tt and 220tt?
  13. What do gm do on a turntable now Pete ?apart from the qc .
  14. And hairy lady parts,"just munching on a growler" has many meanings!
  15. It will be next to the fuel pump with some wires coming out of it, give Pete B a shout he's the gm boffin.
  16. A "growler" is a pork pie here. WTF!
  17. And make sure the stop selanoide is not playing up.
