  1. Not a bad little city to live in....
  2. There are a lot of tourists in the City at the moment....most of who come to see this place
  3. Because of it's locaton at the top of a hill it is atruck quite a lot....just been to go up the tower again forgot i was wearing flip flops which are not allowed going up the 365 steps or so...still enjoyed a walk around it.

  7. But just as we were enjoying a cool break...it looks as if we could be in for another hot one...what a beautiful start to our weekend....this was 5 a.m this morning...i'll never get bored of my view.Almost the weekend Arbtalkland.Have a great one!
  8. Not my pictures..(phone ran out of power) but from the Cathedral sight showing both Castle and Cathdral being hit the previous night..
  9. Towards the end of the day it cooled down a lot (thankfully) and as i looked across the river i could see how the warmth and the rain from the mighty electrical storm had added a lushness to my very green City!
  10. The view from my room is my window on the world....it's the first thing i see in the morning and is where i contemplate life...yesterday began hazey but yet again a very warm indeed

  13. You know mr gand Kew gardens recorded a temperature of 36.3 and apparantly is was several degrees lower in the Palm house!
  14. And finnish the day with some refreshing Cizzer! Served to me by my son in my favourite bar...

  17. And what better way to spend a summer's day than with my family
  18. With no breeze or fan this was the first time i felt my temperature lower
  19. I cannot explain the intense heat i've been feeling today...only relief is that as i've had a couple of days off work i am wearing considerably less than if i'd been in full PPE...nevertheless as i have said many times my body was designed for much colder weather and anything above 19 degrees shuts me down.................grabbed some fruit....met my lads and went to the river
