  12. I don't know what is making me happier right now...the fact that my old faithful top handle has be given a new lease of life and that i got the last two trees of this job down over a horrible disgusting asbestos roof or the fact i don't seem to be lonely any more....anyway....time to shake a tail feather and go and look at a job....have a great Friday Arbtalkers....Tis almost the weekend.

  15. Ironically it seems i wil not be posting any pictures of her however respectful my intentions to share this part of my journey .. She doesn't lije her picture taken and maybe this is a turn in my life that has to stay private however honourable my intentions.......i had seen her around over the years but never spoken to her....wanted to but had to wait until Tuesday night for our paths to cross....and now i am at the very beginning of what could become very special. Bit of a crossroads in my life that feels so special and exciting. I am happy at work...my family life are close to me..i am enjoying my own bits and pieces and after a considerable length of time without a Mrs Fox i am dating again! Six hours with an elegant, intelligent and witty woman walking and talking through the City i love and then the restaurant bill only came to £27!!! BONUS. Still can't believe what has happened in the last two days......

  20. Set it away with a tank and left it on idle....the noise just on tic over was music to my ears! Thump-thump -thump. It was always powerful but with the new Piston and a Pot etcetra (all Stihl parts). What a machine:cool:
  21. After almost a month waiting for parts and for it to be re-built i was re-united yesterday with Stan (my climbing saw). I have only ever owned one saw from new and that was my 020T and that got sold to pay for rent back in the day:(...i replaced it with an MS200T which i bought from a mate called Stan a utility arborist who sadly passed away so this saw is very sentimental and i will do anything to keep it going...Bought about 10 years ago it has never let me down and has earned me money....but about a month ago it spluttered to a halt so without hesitation i handed it over to the lads at my local shop and said to do whatever to return it to its former glory...and the result is incredible!
  22. Just for you Mr Mortimer...this is where i grew up and played as a kid...around this churchyard...an Englishman's home is his Castle...
