  1. A lot of climbers using 11.7...everytime i handle anything over 12mm it feels like rigging rope!

  3. Changing the engine on the Carlton OX......from a 3 cylinder turbo...to a 4 cylinder.
  4. On a final note for the week,something underneath wraps....
  5. Qualification to prune trees not needed that day as we were just clearing tower bases...but for me just the fact that i work outdoors is good enough.Fresh air,out in the elements and things to see is what i like.Big Cable laying ship in the distance.
  6. Recieved one of my certificates on Friday...third time to get this and each time it has a different number/classification but i am always pleases to keep up to date with tickets...
  7. Some great advice from very experienced lads in this industry! I like what stephen said about using the back handle saw.Good work position is the most important factor when using a saw in the tree.It will keep you safe and make cutting far easier.
  8. And what a boot!.....you certainly mean buisness with that hardware on your foot.
  9. Good morning clive....i do take a few....but seriously the 300 battery gives you plenty of trigger time and according to Stihl you can charge it even before you run out so not much chance of running out of power.

  12. Nothing is a drain on power.Not even my saw...Still showing four bars after two trees.
  13. I am very happy with my climbing systems...everthing is effortless!
  14. Much cooler in the canopy of this copper beech and not sticky like the Sycamores.
  15. This sling trick makes the first branch an easy climb.
  16. And the chipper was only running few times for short bursts so it was a noise free day for most of the time.
  17. Nice climbs with Wonderful views of the County Durham countryside.
  18. We were working at the same time as the the Strimmers/grasscutters.Everyone has a job to do so....

  20. Great throwline trees.I always admire this clip.It kept my keys safe in London for five years!
  21. A bit cooler yesterday we were out in the countryside deadwooding and pruning...
  22. She Knew it was Free Range just by the colour of the yolk...But she did grow up on a farm and is quite an expert in the kitchen....Smart woman!
