  3. I'm off up there now.The site is still in County Durham so a short drive for me and it's the same company who supplied the Tree Shear so not too far for them either....

  6. I'm back there today. The forwarder is collecting the timber.
  7. The tree shear is great but i can relate more to a machine that cuts with a bar and chain which has some power through the cut.That's hydraulics for you.And those double edge knives shave off some big branches....i only had to sned two trees out of over 100 cube produced by the Harvester.
  8. Very true Mr Stubby! ....But we never grow up do we? It was a great feeling just sitting there with that view of the view of the head.
  9. I have wanted to see one of these up close for many years and today i spent a day with one...and just like a kid whose dream was to stand on the footplate of a train,i got to check out what is felt like inside a harvester....Dream come true!
  10. Another day....another location.This time up in the hills spending the day with this Harvester.
  11. Drop the speed to 2 or 3 when the fatter stuff goes through.
