  1. Now how it feels Ian, I hope you get back to work as soon as possible.
  2. Barstuards, they had some of my machines away last month, know how you feel.
  3. Hi Joe, sorry to hear that , I had several items taken on the 30.08.2012 at much the same time early in the morning would not surprise me if it was not the same bunch who had my machines away. Good luck I hope you get some results. john.
  4. KM130R 4 mix with 135 degree 20 inch hedge trimmer also one HS 81R 30 inch hedge cutter and one BG 86CE leaf blower and One Combi Fuel can. Total £1,240.74 , not bad for an early morning out. I just hope they dont cut themselves to badly.
  5. Hi Rich2484, Unfortunately there are not any ID markings apart from wear and tear which I would recognise. But thank you for keeping a look out.
  6. Hi Jonesie, Police have taken prints, as to cameras they are only in the centre of town, I will ask if they could check.
  7. Just a heads up to all in the Tunbridge Wells, Crowborough area East Sussex. last night at 12.15am I had two hedge cutters and a leaf blower and my combi fuel can taken, alarm went off but they had gone before I could get out to see what was going on. If anyone one hears of any Equipment being offered please PM me let me know, all machines were Stilh. Gutted.
  8. Thanks to everyone concerned for the show, went along on Friday and met Steve and Andy on the Axe throwing which I had not done before but i will be doing again really enjoyed that, thank you. It was good to see other arbtalkers there and I finally bought the T shirt which I have to say is now one of my favourites, bought a few things from F R Jones and the goody bag was a nice touch, good day.
  9. I have to say the Petzl , fits well and very comfortable, the adjustment is very good, mine came with the Sordin ear defenders and guard which adjust and fit well, have changed the inner part of the defenders as they got a bit smelly. I will replace it with another Petzl next year as it will be five years old.

    Air rifle

Yes Tom D, although .177 will arc less over the distance than .22 and .20 cal. so should be more accurate, not that great kill distances are in play here.

    Air rifle

.20 cal is nice and .22 cal but .177 cal has a higher velocity, better kill in PCP with good scope no recoil helps smooth the shot ,takes out rabbits really well from the back of a bunny basher. I have had good results IMO. Make of rifle is a .177 cal ten shot Harrier Daystate with moderator.
  14. Who ever the low lifes are I hope they get their just deserts stealing from a working man stinks.
  15. Yes quite right Tony. I would not eat anything that came from a Yew, knowing how leathal the foliage is, not forgetting to mention the seed in the fruit. ,
  16. The last time I used a mewp the karabiners were screw lock attached to the base in the basket, didn't really consider the pro's and con's . They were supplied with the machine and worked well.probably quicker to undo the three way apart from that little in it, personal choice I think.
  17. Yes it would appear that it likes both living and dead material but not very often found on coniferous wood. But also grows on Larches in the Alps. And can be eaten if washed thoroughly before cooking, not sure if I could though. As much as I like Mushrooms and Fungi.
  18. C:\Users\Jonathan\Pictures\2012-06-11 fungi\Fungi 11.06.2012.JPG Found this little fellow today in the woodland on a fallen Oak, Laetiporus Sulphureus not very exciting but it just caught my eye.
  19. Tomorrow looks like it should be alright for the majority of the day, glad I am just hedge cutting, had enough of the wet rope club.
  20. Yes you are right there, this morning was not to bad , glad to be home and dry, ready for another soaking tomorrow.
  21. That's weird, I would of thought a man kini would of been more appropriate dress. Safety first.
