  6. If you steer clear of cutting thorn bushes then Hi-flex last ages. from now on, only deadwood large spreading oak trees. simple.

  8. I think again that personal preference is a massive issue here. Go and try some on. I have some stretch airs but to be honest I prefer my hi-flex for fit and comfort.

  10. Hi Bill. Dont know about the stein boots, I only wear trainers these days. Only joking, I really rate them for build quality, they are tough, tough boots. (still fairly "firm" shall we say, but would certainly recommend them.

    Funny that, about the Merip. It was found in the exact spot of a Beech i felled and ground out, that was removed because it had died and had Merip. haha What a fungiful world we live in.
  12. Cn anyone explain to me any difference at all between these and the Stein Quest GTX????? Other than the obvious colour??? Am I looking at the picture wrong??, They are very, very similar. Same Vibram sole, same lace eyelets etc etc??

  14. By jerky I think they mean the actual filming, try deliberately moving your head alot slower so as to give the camera more chance to pick everything up. Make a concious effort to slow your head movements down and then watch the new footage, you WILL see a difference. I cant talk, heres my first attempt. They take some getting used to.   18. Ok I filmed it today, with an independant adjudicator timing. 6.4 seconds was the record, in 12 seconds I managed to tie a running bow line and marlin spike. Woohaa. Whos next to step up to the plate???
