  1. Unfortunately the 235e has a non adjustable oil pump and you are pretty much stuck with what you have. I suggest you don't leave it idling too long between cuts as it will continue to pump oil even though the chain isn't moving.
  2. If you MUST clean your saws I can highly recommend Stihl's Special Cleaner (0000 881 9400), it's half the price of their resin solvent and equally effective. It really does get the job done and 500ml lasts a very long time . It's equally effective a getting gunge of bars etc and doesn't affect the paintwork.I highly recommend it.
  3. Ebay doesn't give a s**t , you can report them until you are blue in the face the chances of them being pulled are negligible as I've found out. I have no sympathy for anyone who buys one (assuming there are pictures). If you can't be bothered to do the minimum of checking on the Husqvarna or Stihl websites (assuming you are unfamiliar with what the saw should look like) then it's entirely your own fault and you shouldn't be on ebay in the first place. Remember if it looks too good to be true it usually is , nobody can be that gullible, even the most cursory of inspections show it to be a fake. ( When I say "you" I am in no way implying that anyone on this site would be taken in.)
  4. The main reason I was asking about the Husqvarnas was because although I have a couple of Husqvarna main agents locally neither of them stock their boots and when asked why not they were both pretty evasive with their answers. ( the good deal I was offered was over the phone )
  5. A pair of Tibet Forest actually but only to stop people pointing and laughing at me in the street. ( not the lightest I know, but nice fit on my feet )
  6. Seeing that these boots don't seem to be the most popular in use I've bought a pair of Haix instead. ( I'm assuming that anyone who actually has a pair of Huskys is too ashamed to admit it. )
  7. I'm looking for a pair of light leather chainsaw boots (for summer ground work) and have been offered a good deal on a pair of Husqvarna Light 20's .Anybody have any experience of them? Are they a waste of money? Does anyone know who makes them for Husqvarna? Should I avoid them like the plague? Cheers!
