  1. Are you stalking me? Lol No huskys here all Stihl!
  2. Probably ate too many and couldn't get out the door! :-P
  3. I placed an order earlier this week for a load of chains, 16" & 25" stihl bars. These arrived promptly with the following freebies (see pic), I was amazed at the generosity! Then realised that the 16" Stihl bar had been upgraded to a Sugihara pro because Rob was out of stock of Stihl ones - I'm gobsmacked! Thanks Rob, that's a customer for life you have now. Cheers... Al
  4. You mean you were hoping that was what I meant :-D I'll be popping into the arbshow on Saturday so will seek you out..
  5. I can't wear braces, makes my nipples sore! Back to the original topic three was someone up the tree when we came back, wearing dayglo orange. So hopefully all good now.
  6. Chipper was gone this morning but climbing rope was still up the tree. Trees are next to a railway. Hope everything is OK for who ever is working there.
  7. I've got a similar job coming up but the tree is at the bottom and everything has to go up!
  8. Wasn't that warm today! Did he have some tats to show off then?
  9. Driving into London this morning on the A40, and around Park Royal area there was a woodland off to the left and a tracked chipper lying on its side! Also a climbing rope in a tree... May have been a bad day yesterday? Anyone know what happened?
  10. Backhurst in Normandy. Charged me £20 for a 7.5t load - cheap as chips!! haha

    Almost looks like wisteria?
  12. Just browsing down the sidebar on here looking for Kingswood Training and right at the bottom is an advert 'Cover you funeral costs'
  13. Doing an urgent conifer hedge removal and nearly filled my 7.5t truck already We are in Wormley so if any one knows somewhere around here please let me know Cheers... Al. 07841 143536
  14. Sounds good to to me. You buy the Avant and then swap it for the landy! Can you get a 700 series please? :-P
  15. Certainly looks a big one. Anymore photos of the whole Tree?
  16. Bark looks like Parrotia persica or Persian Iron wood to me.
  17. Where did you hire the crane from David?
  18. Worth a gamble at that price. Being able to communicate with the groundie without shouting is great. I where hearing aids when not working/climbing and before the headsets it was a real struggle to make myself understood sometimes. And when the customer came out to tell me something or with a request it became a guessing game at times!
  19. I was lucky and took the units back to the shop saying I left them plugged into the computer over night, and now they don't work. They replaced them under warranty!
  20. Just don't plug it into a lorry with 24v for charging..... They don't like that!
