  1. No worries mate all the help is great, I just spoke to the owner and he said that last year the fungus got really big so it sounds like merip, might have to get the title changed. Thanks for the help at least I know what it is for next time.
  2. Thanks I should have put a question mark as I'm not too sure, the ones I have seen were all at the base of the trees not higher up the trunk also the underside is quite pale compaired to the to of the fungus, I'm sorry if I got this one wrong but I'm still learning ids so I'm not one hundred percent sure also they seem to have concentric rings on the top side of them not plain compared to sulferous. any help or info would be great help. Thanks.
  3. Seems to be the Fungus of the month at the moment, all were on Beech, most were either in decline mainy crown dieback and some dead.

Magpie nests are pretty impressive! they often use old nests and add to them, they create a nest so that it has protection from attack from above. Barbed wire would be the ultimate nest defence!!
  9. Thanks Robert, quite like that one myself. Thanks David these were all taken on my I phone, I should really start taking my main camera but never do! Photography is something I've always had an interest in.

  17. Nice work mate you'll be making bowls next, Kuksas are good to make too. Flax seed oil is the best oil to use as its not chemical bassed so its food safe.
