Hi guys sorry to but in but im at this moment are trying the small system with a fixed sided pulley. The problem im getting is that its abit tight to get connected onto my harness, I mean that by Ive got the butterfly harness and as most of you will know the sliding ring on the front is quite small. At the moment im having to use a gecko for the knot and pulley which goes in the ring and a mongoose for the spliced eye end of my rope which i connect to the front belt along side the ring. Is there another way to connect without having to use two carabeaners

  21. Hi guys hows everyone doing, just wanted to ask about some glasses, at this present time im climbing with the stihl mesh visor and ear muffs on my old style petzal lid. Im always getting dust and crap in my eyes even when using the visor, my question is what are the most common glasses used at the moment while working up in trees Thanks Gaz
  22. Ive always believed that to be a good grounds man you need to have done abit of climbing to understand what the climber has to do in the job and what he needs. Doing that you start to understand how to read the climbers actions and you know whats coming next, that way you will start to be one step ahead.
  23. I got my bag from a local decathlon store had it about 3 years now and still going well. In the main compartment ive got my harness, strop, just under the main compartment is a smaller one and your can get into it from bottom of the bag opened by a zip and thats just rine for my yale rope. On the sides theres pockets that are fine for all my bits of smaller gear.
  24. For me its using spikes, the fear of them slipping out the tree. Im also not to hot on limb walking too but im getting better
