  1. Red stag training are running cs41 in suffolk at the beginning of September
  2. Pm me for prices and I have numbers for self employed hauliers.
  3. CHC we'll have to meet up. Got some great extras on my trailer to show off..... Have you plenty of work or do you sub out...?
  4. I'm the other side up on suffolk/ Norfolk border. I either move site with two trailers which can be a pain but ok if it's for a good amount of work or a friendly farmer has moved it with his tractor and low loader trailer.
  5. CHC I can't get your attachment. I'm in suffolk and you..?
  6. I took a real punt going down the low impact compact route but it is starting to pay off. I researched the hell out of it for months. So if I can help message me a number and I'll bell you. I went with in my opinion the best on the market. It is made and bit in Finland and is the first of its kind in the UK. Multi Mette.
  7. Is Suffolk to far for you guys.? I have good Ash and Hornbeam.
  8. We cut to spec of the site so it could be anything. Firewood is most common normally 2.4 to 3m. Larger trees for saw logs etc. Generally whatever suits the landowner.
  9. So work has been really picking up with the new compact forwarder and woodland management so I thought I would look for a youngster to train and give paid experience to.... No I was wrong they all want to be arborists....
  10. AGT 835 with the very first Finish multi mette forwarder in the UK. ....
  11. The way it works for my training company is we work in conjunction with foresters and management plans. No fees apply because timber is being felled and processed to spec so the landowner gets money from the sale of the timber. The forestry commission on the other hand in East anglia charge £20 + vat per man per day. Thus nobody uses there sites anymore.
  12. Try Brampton valley training there not far from you.
  13. Although Kellfri are imported from Sweden there parts are manufactured in China.
