  1. Science can only be fact based or its not Science. Peer reviewed is important. Nothing abt this C19 is in the books yet. Screaming abt it ver the web is useless. At some point antiviral response wil get worked out. Off to give some plasma, see if that will help. K
  2. Basically a single malt on offer would have the advice flying in. A few blokes on here come up with an answer for everything but it all takes time out of their day. Try ebay and Northern Arb supplies, something for every saw on there. I loved my old Oleo on conifer, worth the bother. K

    chipper pto

That'll run most things ? but more importantly wot you gonna chip ? Brushwood? Working on banks? Straight poles fr fuel chip? Hand fed or machine grab? An how much you fancy spending? K

    Jokes???

Been out wi two of those. ( not sayin which ones -) k
  6. Am not broad - found the Petzel AVAO pretty good, simple too - as those buckle things seem to part, on other harness' k
  7. Probably they have a guy there who does actually repair saws, hence a few useful bits n bobs, bet the other crowd just unwrap a new saw fr you. K
  8. Aye! Stop! Theres some hoodie blokes nicking yr slabs mate ! ? K
  9. Damn. No thats not right neither Mr Stubby which means i am going to have to research into all this ...... An if i am found ' dead in a woodland' like Dr David Kelly - its all yr fault . K
  10. Absolutely opposite - they ' harvest' what they need then return next night. No sense in having animal bleed out if yr coming back tomorrow night is there? K
  11. A new spring needed ? should be all packed in one assembley ? ebay *woooosh* k
  12. Would also point out a bit of old sewing machine effort might help as the actual waist fit can be modified as it aint affecting the protection layers, darts put in or taken out, in sides and bum area. K
  13. Dont even class Monkey puzzle as a tree, one of Gods hangover ideas after a hard sunday night. K
  14. Modern forensic analysis makes that a bad idea..... K
  15. Think the vaccine is a long way off and as mentioned - Polio vaccs have made life changing differences. Struck me at weekend reading back on this that the previous remarks on clotting and virulence of this virus is so different to previous strains - i recall blood clotting enzymes produced in Bats that feed on cattle, which if spliced into a virulent coronavirus could make a nasty virus lethal. A question for Bio Research bods. Though i feel that the 'answer' is known in a certain place anyway ? K
  16. That then becomes an invalid quote. But photograph site on date of quotation regardless- dont use Google Earth! K
  17. Basically no matter how well something is made - i have worked with a bloke who will fvvk it up- It will depend on how well maintained you are and how hard it has to work. Price is a factor as to quality of parts n spares etc. K
  18. Core drills?? Pic might help but will certainly be on ebay. K
  19. Well. As part of a management system you can use it for habitat, burning it is an option and more enviromentally friendly, or on big sites it can be bundled for certain purposes. K
  20. 30 days. Unless a regular. K
  21. Few hands will go up fr that loader ? k
  22. ........... An dogshit by the shovelful. K
  23. Pyrracantha. Bar non. K
  24. Basically, the Internet has given many the idea that things are fun and instantaneous ( or very near) such that felling a tree or milling is a straightforward, risk free venture. The craft and back ground knowledge is often huge and not intuitive, with far too many variables possible. K
  25. Just access fr harvesting and thinning out fruit Mr Stubby.. Dependent on how you want the trees to crop. Nothing wrong with letting it grown as a garden tree on its own. K
