    Evening all I was doing a survey in a park north of london a couple of days ago. There was an avenue of over mature trees with deeply fissured grey bark. They are in the region of 16m tall with a spread of 16m. The main unions were all compressive in nature with significant included bark and no real reaction wood present, much like Robinia psudoacacia(no spikey nastiness though! I only got these poor shots with my phone. Bark, buds and an in situ fruit on one of the topped individuals. Good luck..

    Morning guys This may well be an easy one for those of you who have been here for a while but I'm newly off the plane from a 5 year stint in Oz and I'm slowly getting back into our trees! Its a street tree from the Hammersmith area, I'm leaning towards Turkish hazel but I will happily bow to your collective wisdom! Thanks for your help in advance

    020, Someone else showing there age! Cant agree more...although thats probably more nostalgic than accurate, the 200t solved all the problems. Why on earth that new thing(201t) was launched I dont know! My Zubat comes a very close second!

    I bought a 1988 L300 4x4 when I got to Oz. She was pretty cool:001_cool: but let us down a lot! Having said that there were no electronics so we could always fix any of the problems she threw at us:thumbup:!

    Everyone should really be singing the praises of Toyota land Cruiser but fuel economy isnt crash hot. I read an article about a retired guy and his wife who did it in a Disco2 (Td5) with no problems. When they got to Australia they upgraded the suspension because of the tough terrain outback and the load they were carrying.

    Hi again John... It turns out that I have no idea what I want from a CAD programme! I really just need to be able to open plans, and add extra layers to those plans! You sound like a man who knows, so what would you suggest? As far as being your favourite Aus city, on a day like today I couldnt agree more! The suns shining as I sit writing this on my balcony at the top of Kangaroo Point cliffs overlooking the river and city!
