  3. iv tryed Ocean Polyester ,Yale Bee-Line, BEAL Regate , Lyros Herkules the bee line works good but for the knot i use it bits really hard if i sit on it for more the 20secs just makes it a sod when u want to take slack out of the rope Ocean Polyester i could not get on with it hope that helps u a bit more cheers martin
  4. buy a lenght of 4-5 diffrent cords mate have a play ur self thats the best way of finding out as u will go with what feels best for u the best one iv found so far is Armor Prus 8mm but i climb on Yale Imori and use a schwabish knot and works really well hope that helps a bit

  8. i dont rate the small timberwolf after usin one for half a day i would rather drag brush 200yard up a hill if i was near u i would come out for the day with the m-400 jo-beau but 3 hours up the road is a wee bit to far

  18. since last weds iv had a bad cold or flu what ever u want to call it i brought to old danarm chain saws witch i picked up thursday nite. as i ent bin feeling to great iv bin doing a bit on one of the saws cleaned it rite out carb,exhaust,empty feul tank and cleaned it up a bit i put it all back together today 2nd pull of the cord away she went chokes itself up and after that i didnt have the energy to try again. i didnt even think it would go my main aim was just to get a bit of feul in the carb just thought i would share some pics

  21. PM Rob.D look up 2 posts he is the best man to talk to he has put me rite so far (granbreg) is what i use(form rob.d) oregen is ok but what i found out granberg is better at most things over than really soft wood witch i dont mill anyway hope that helps mate
  22. what i love about milling is someone or u are happy at the end of the job. u ever have something really nice to sell other than firewood or u keep it and make something out of it that would cost u alot of money everyone wins
  23. just waiting for that Acacia and walnut now first time iv used the 660 for milling. wow what a diffrence to the old 441 i will be giving u a call at some point rob for a grandberg 30inch chain as a spare for the 66 and a mini mill(end of next month)
  24. bloke is going build a fire place out of it it milled really nice
