  1. Sitting here drinking black rat and wishing that the date hadn't clashed. The "rat" can do odd things. I am hoping the promised dismantle will be as much fun as you chaps will have
  2. Will I be the first with negative equity?
  3. I am wondering if our random weather makes "correct" timing of pruning impossible to do?
  4. Do you have any idea why both your tool strop and your harness tool attatchment failed to do their job? That looks well scary
  5. Tracked loader with a four in one bucket and burn on site. It may be worth looking into saving the stems for those trendy wood fired pizza places. The good old drott still has a place
  6. Just dont damage the whipping as it could fail L.O.L.E.R. If you did damage it you could re-do yourself but homemade ppe is a minefield. I was advised by a loler inspector to put a few wraps of tape round that could easilly be removed for routine checks and the 6 mont:001_smile:hly
  7. The front prop should be out of alignment to compensate for the angle that the front axle is mounted, the rear ones should line up. Gearbox wise i'd guess you have bearing problems in the main box and wear in the transfer box dogs.
  8. Tis good Second all the good comments, very well done Steve
  9. Does your wrench have the pocket machined on the inside that lets the pin out further? My one easily takes a yale xtc.
  10. Doesn't offend me. A well reasoned response to a difficult problem, I hope that the hotel staff can pass on the reasoning. I wonder if an explanation sheet for the interested visitor should be done. Had it not had a TPO would you have spiked it in the hope of encouraging new growth?
  11. Join Hamas book club and absorb
  12. 11" at the moment. Could see it getting shorter with practice.
  13. Thanks Carl. That must be what i heard talk of Steve. I've been staring at the tether that Kevin put on the rope wrench thread.Cheers muchly:thumbup:

  17. Good thought there. A lorry is a lot wider than the 5' 5 1/2" of an ifor so do-able. A good excuse to visit Snows.
  18. I redecked mine a while ago using phenolic ply. It has not survived well, delaminated and fungal growths. I am currently pricing to redeck in imported hardwood as used on commercial vehicles.
  19. Well chuffed. My new pantin and rope wrench arrived the day after my online order. As allways splendid service.
  20. On some old kit the battery + is earthed to the machine frame and the - is the live.
  21. Got the 3.9 turbo Isuzu in my Landy, they are well built engines.:thumbup
  22. I suppose it's too late to ask what area you are in? I'd go for the heavy duty 110
