    I've just looked on L&S engineerings website and they do show one that clips over the bar studs..... no little screw like we are used to. ? OEM part no 11226641001

    It's missing the inner side plate so the bar isn't nipping up

    Cheers Eggs, not just me feeling grumpy on that subject ? . I do wonder if the "efficient" types realise that they put off a lot of decent tradesmen working for them and end up paying an awful lot more for a bodge job by other clever business people who play the game ?

    £850000 if there is unused allowance from the previous death of a partner and assets are being passed on to children.

    The 1897 act reminds me of the medieval market overts that ceased to be in 1995. I suspect that disposal of assets without the loser having an equal likelihood of seeing them advertised would be open to legal challenge

    Ouch, hope it heals well. My first ever silky bit me before it ever bit wood,....... taught me to respect it before I climbed with it though. My current top blood letter is the wheel clamp on the new trailer ?

    I've been very happy with my 260 & have had no problems at all with it. I find that it cuts faster than a friends 346 ?

    I've never had any problems working plant on pavements or across highways. Being polite to passers by and keeping swept up is the key I think ?

    Low tyre pressures do increase flotation and really do help with self cleaning. Low pressure and high speeds can overheat the tyre, worth looking up what the manufacturer states the rolling radius should be. Low pressure and heavy pulling has been known to spin the tyre on the rim (quickly wrecks the beads), correct fitting lubricants such as Michelin agrilube do help glue the tyre in place.

    Conservation contractors seem to completely destroy their restoration projects by carelessly burning them down with regularity. I'd guess that trying to combine always having a roll up on the go with having to be in the pub by 3.30 doesn't leave much room for error. ?

    The larger peak on the forestry helmet over the climbing ones is supposed to give more protection to the face from kickback apparently. Personally I use a kask/stein for everything and stay aware of where my saw could go ?

    Took ages for codwood to cotton on, was even talking about engaging a silk ?

    Yup....... Built on insufficient foundations and still awarded £25,000 in damages. I could think of some people who'd see it as a way of circumventing a TPO ?

    I usually slip the old olive over a parallel punch, open the jaws of a vice slightly to support them and gently tap the sides to expand it. Works a treat

    My victim was leaking back into the reservoir, so not any external signs. Most of the time the clutch was good, just occasionally the pedal stayed on the floor. It drove the owner half mad

    I've come across similar symptoms on a 7 1/2 horse box lorry. Part way down the pedal stroke a spring went over centre and gave assistance, it relied on the clutch springs to push it back overcentre on the return. A slightly dodgy master cylinder let the fluid go early and the pedal would stay down.
