  6. I take it you have a day job to pay the bills and to pay for your saws, equipment, insurance. I also use logs for heating etc You might save £1k in fuel bills, but my insurance bill alone for everything is over £5K, my fuel bill is around £6k, wage bill around £15K and so on Thats an awful lot of £20 takedowns, you can never educate the ignorant....that comment is not aimed at you but the man who thinks it can be done for £20. You can take down trees for £20 but not many Oh, and just this week alone, I have spent nearly £600 on PPE
  7. The remains were taken away Dave, if anything was found during excavation work came to a standstill while they were carefully removed
  8. Things might be different now but I assure you, the gravestones were all dressed and sold for building, any lettering was "backed off". None of the bodies were moved, they were covered over with soft mulch so the grave could be filled with topsoil without damaging the skeleton. This was a graveyard with no tombs. The graveyard opposite my last house was full of tombs, the same happened there as what happened in Mozzas example, the relatives were wrote to and given warning, the bodys were all exumed and the diggers moved in, fact

  14. The first open grave you see is a bit scarey, but you soon get used to it. The skeletons are there obviously but so is the hair and quite a lot of gold jewelery, I could have been rich but grave robbing is not my thing, I'd have been cursed for a lifetime

  16. Priced a graveyard job this morning and came across this, makes you want to know whats underneath it I once did a graveyard reclamation job where we had to lift all the stones and cover the skeletons with compost then topsoil, we did hundreds. It was a solicitor and his wife that were making it into a lawn. She came out with a tray of teas, walking across to where we were she dissappeared up to her armpits when the ground gave way. She looked down and was stood on a skeleton, she freaked out big style, moved house not long after, just thought I'd share some more useless info with you. Bless her though, she kept hold of the tray full of teas
