  2. Holy cow, that is horendous and dangerous, that tyre is totally out of order
  3. See how hard the wuss was that won the fist fight threatening the camera crew after Won one fight and suddenly he's ten men
  4. This machine is my neighbours so no transport costs, just tracked it from my house, across the main road and down to my yard, suprising how accomodating the drivers on the main road were stopping to let me cross
  5. Access Johnny, only way would be to track it 800m on tarmac, highways would go mental
  6. I got to a deep bit and it is proper clay, the pot making stuff, thought about flogging it on
  7. I'm managing but it's a right pain having to clean it out with a big bar every half hour or so. I'd reckon on there's a 1000 ton to move but access to get a bigger machine in is limited, this ones a 5 tonner
  8. Wouldn't they have gone for a reduce Rob ? I reckon they'd have looked good reduced rather than thin
  9. Jeremy Clarkson I can put up with once or twice, but not all day
  10. Got hundreds of tons of clay soil to shift which is very claggy, so claggy it is staying in big lumps so the digger is picking big lumps up as in pic. Thats no problem, the big problem is having to get out and declag the bucket all the time with the clay sticking in there. Any tips to avoid this? Had it stood on its nose and side quite a few times Tried it with trenching bucket and 18" digging bucket
  11. I have just this minute told someone phoning me on an 0800 number they are a parasite and should get a proper job. I did tell them ever so politely There should be a law against cold calling ...and whilst we're on the subject, I had a letter delivered from a new Timberwolf dealer by hand, I do hope they don't cold call at my house because they'll get bogged right off
  12. I haven't put the camera up Rob, good idea mate, I need to do that tomorrow morning.
  13. Oh dear...the same thief has been back for another load this morning and the police haven't even been yet By the time the rozza's get here and pay him a visit, he's going to have a right pile of incriminating unsplit logs.....let's hope he takes some more and then has to explain where he has just bought them from
  14. It might be worth having a road sign made up that you can leave next to logs left on site warning log theft is an offence and will be prosecuted
  15. I once made a man trap by bending over a large silver birch with a winch and setting a lassoo type sling covered in leaves with a stick as a trigger. It ended up with my mate persuading me to take it back down as it might end up actually launching someone into a tree then back again
  16. Cant do that, you'll be all jealous at how fast I split logs and see my secret technique
  17. I intend to make a vid shortly but am snowed under at the mo
  18. picture here where you can see the shoot extension, ignore the two muppets sat on the machine
  19. 65's are bomb proof, built to last and mine has never broke down, everything is very heavy duty. The only downside is, as you have found out, they don't like deadwood. It does help if you never empty out the tray under the bottom roller, just leave it alone and eventually it gets a solid layer of compacted chip that hugs the bottom roller and keeps big lumps of chip out You will also need to extend the discharge flap into a box profile because it fires chip out in a fan shape all over the place, I extended mine by 2 ft and it's great. The only other thing to watch is it will fire chip out like bullets, which wear your headboard fairly quickly. I measured how far it threw chip with the discharge set at 45 degrees and it was 150ft
  20. The funny thing is, if you look at photo 4 and 5 the white square on the logpile next to the person lifting the log, is a big sign telling them it is private and any log theft will be prosecuted !!
  21. It takes very little for the Police to revoke your license, even being "accused" of threatening behavour will do it.
  22. I have an end grain beech one already which I bought from the yorkshire show, but it is made up from little squares all glued together, can hardly lift the bloody thing it's that heavy. Our lass said, "What the hell am I supposed to do with that?" when I brought it home
  23. Thats what stops me from doing anything silly Dave
  24. I bet you were a drugs dog in a previous life dave
