im back on the job hunt again, odd days, weeks whatever's going. Ive got 30,31,38,39 and tractor driving. Also got PTS, Aone+ highways card, and hgv1 so can tow trailers etc. got my own saws climbing kit etc. but my climbing does need work. Im a grafter and not bothered what work it is, dragging etc. can probably get references from people on here if needed. cheers mike 07764581557

yeah got cs39 but there is chainsaw from a mewp too. ben shut it or ill post that pic!!

just wondering if anyone knows anywehere that does the mewp ticket and cs47 ticket? can it be any mewp course or is it arb specific, obviously the cs47 is arb specific , tried myerscough before, but they only do it when they have enough people, anywhere in manchester or surrounding areas anyone knows of? cheers mike

260 with a 13" bar, once dropped one of a bridge about 25'-30' up ont to hard ground and it was fine, bent the bar tho.

Yep done everthing from 15 mins to 2 hours, Wouldnt travel more than an hour each way long term tho, like others have said if you need to you need to, depends if you want to spend nearly a day a week travelling.

is he using a kerr rope? cant belive he spent all that time snatching like that, id have had the winch out after a few goes, or got a tandem pull on.

the only way a Toyota would do 80 towing anything would be if a landy was towing the Toyota! There's a lot more bark took of than your photo. I'll pull over on the hard shoulder (something Toyota drivers will be used to doin) and get some pics.

not sure if your winding me up there butI t's in a wood between the slip road and main carriageway so it's not gonna be farm animals, Spose it could be some sort of wildlife I'll try an get a pic Monday if there's somewhere to stop.

seen what seems to be thje bark removed up to about a foot from ground level and around a third of the diameter on some trees at the side of the m56 in cheshire, anyone know what this is for? looks intentional, tho i have been going past at 80, err 70!

My day to day landy is 1986 too on a d plate, none of this modern diseasal rubbish tho, it's got a proper engine, v8:thumbup: touch wood it's never let me down proper tho I've had plenty of "moments"!!!

no mate youve got that wrong,( ive got six so should know:thumbup:), you need to leave the squeaks and rattles till something breaks or youll be looking forever theres that many of them. preventattive maintenance, not for me:lol:

what! its sort of understandable with tophandles etc, but come on its hardly likely to get a serious injury from a blower! their taking the mick. so now ive got the option of paying list price from my local dealer- dont think so. or buying one off ebay, welcome to the world of h+s gone mad!

the other thing is getting a stihl one, with their distance selling rules and my local stihl dealer being not much use. mail order is a big plus. cheers for the replies.
