    im after the maximum weight steel scaff poles can take. either on a per metre or whatever. basically i want to see how much an 8'2" length of bar can safely take? cheers mike

    i only saw the hand tools part when i put my last post up, i mainly want it for the chipper as its not quite as secure as id like! its only a jb chipper hence £4k.

    This covers loss or damage to powered and non-powered hand held tools of all types belonging to, leased to, on hire purchase, loan or hired to you or you employees We will not pay for personal tools whilst unattended unless they are contained in: a) a vehicle provided that the doors of the vehicle are locked and all its windows and other openings are fully closed and properly fastened or, b) a locked building or lock storage unit. thats about all i can find, although it only covers hand tools so ill have to ring regarding the chipper

    hi guys can anyone reccomend tool only insurance? ive found a company online called tool insurance online who quoted 105 fo £4000 of tools, sounds too cheap or is it? cheers

    ok cheers guys ill get them sharpened. cheepest i coud get the equivalent greenmech was 2600+vat, and that was out of my budget. saturn knives are selling new blades fo about 90£ a pair is that ok? laslty how do i set the anvil gap? cheers for the helpful replies guys.

    im after somewhere to tip some chip. ive got about 2/3 cube of connie chip at the moment. any help much appreciated.

    right just bought myuself a m300 and i have to say im not hugely impressed, so far. been chipping some connie and other bits today, it doesnt pull it in like on the you tube vids ,typically. everything has to be "pushed" in to the blades, anything over two inch needs to be really shoved, it wont even touch 4inch stuff, which granted is its max. so whats up with it? the blades are rough and could do with sharpening but im not sure there that bad. also where could i by another set of blades from? cheers guys

    yeah ooks similar to those old utility ones which had the ramsey in them i think. what sort of winch is it? is there a plate on top to see the cable spooling on?

    bummer, not to bad on short threads but the likes of wee chipper etc, really pees me off. closest i found was going on printable version then selecting 40 posts but you cant see pics then. oh well cheers anyway

    Just wondering what you guys have on your sign writing? I'm looking at getting my trailer done, I reckon keep it simple is best just thinking of having tree surgeon and a phone number. What do you think. Also got a price for 45£ for 18"x4'ish, is that about the going rate?

    I've asked them if they'd rake 1800 and the said no. Never seen one for sale before so don't really know the going rate second hand?

    Not sure to be honest don't think so.would be ideal for me I think it only weighs 120kg so I can put it on my trailer and chip into the trailer too. Do you know the new price for one?

    been looking at the jo beau on ebay its ex demo and on for 2200, anyone know if its a good/reasonable price?

    ive done the nptc one. never realy needed it and the only time i did was for a building site, who couldnt decide if my nptc along with cscs card was ok. never got ythe job so never found out for sure
