  6. Put your gob cut in as normal then place a pencil sized stick in the gob to the rear of the cut with the majority sticking out of the cut. This will be a marker for height and to make sure your bar is parallel. If the bar is parallel when you make the cut the hinge will be equal!
  7. Any body tried Ocean Pacific from treeworker?
  8. going to try the hitch climbers later this week
  9. Try giving the 2 pints of plasma, takes quite a bit longer but you donate twice as much!

  13. 3M swedish strop, prusik and a couple of 3 way krabs. 1/3 of the price! of most set ups:151:
  14. I have been told there may be a problem with the stress control, without seeing it I dont know how difficult it is to fix. Could it be a nightmare or a simple soulution?
  15. Pi55i#g myself laughing!
  16. Are the knifes eashy to change?
  17. Anyone used one of these? Good and bad points? Just bought one, where can I get the blades sharpend or replaced local would be a bonus! Cheers!
  18. The reason why NATO have not destroyed the poppy fields is: If you destroy the livelehood of the farmer (because thats what they are) what are they going to do to support their famalies? Take a few dollors from the Taliban and fight against NATO! The farmers make a pitance of what the crop is worth, its further down the chain that the product becomes worth millions! Why NATO does not buy the crops themselves and produce legitimate pharmacuticle grade drugs is another question. It would be cheaper and would also help control the drugs problems here in the U.K.
  19. The final details have not been confirmed yet but I am told I will be informed when it does?
  20. I spoke to Barbra the other day and she thinks this will go ahead, there's lots of interest this year.
  21. Cool!, we can have our own chapter of Arbtalk
  22. You do mean one of these http://gear.sherrilltree.com/iwwidb.pvx?;multi_item_submit used them on a standard flip line, good bit of kit! I now use a 3M Swedish strop with two 3 way Krabs. 1 attached to a mallion and the other larksfooted on a prussik. I prefer the rigidity of the Swedish as opposed to standard floppy flip lines. Dont think you can get mechanical grabs for such a large diameter cable?
  23. Jay, is this the place where I want to do the AA tech course?
  24. pfaner tyrol fighters! Dont tell everyone!
