1. Thanks Dave, just re-read that as I'm sat here waiting to go out tree inspecting (no vehicles)
2. Had the day off yesterday, you can imagine what I ended up doing...
3. We have the time you see, time to sit in a little circle, knit pompoms while drinking copious amounts of tea and putting the world to rights, its good for the teambuilding, don’t you know :-)
4. New Strategy here in local authority land - When carrying out an ever-so-slightly hard (ish) reduction and your worried about negative feedback from the general public and maybe some ArbTalkers - Just hang some pompoms on it, fools ’em every time!
5.
Give me a shout if ever you want something more permanent.

6. Plenty of pics of te ES buddy, its also in the Trader this week
7. It does indeed sound like a lovely opportunity. If the position was more permanent I’d be very interested as always wanted to work a private estate. It would however be lovely to see the fruits of ones labour and plan the project long-term instead of a short-term fix.
8. Been a while since I posted in here! Last time I posted I was running a TD5 GS Discovery, which (ahem) I sold and bought a Fiat 500 Abarth, the boy-racer phase lasted 2 months after which I sold it (lost a fortune) and bought a TD5 ES Discovery. This is now for sale again as I’ve fallen in love with the following -
9. Not much on tonight so thought I’d look through the external hard drive and found these, taken two years ago now - wonder if she’s still standing? Think I’ll make a return visit with a proper camera
10. Thank-you.......I'm working on it
11. A few from the other end of the scale...
12. Yep, they have a few on the go - have used them a fair bit over the years
13. I’m not going to go mad with threads but thought I’d create this one in order to share a few pictures with you that I’ve taken over the last few years, I’ll try and keep them tree related as best as I can! These three were taken last Saturday morning at Croome Park, Worcestershire - just happened to wake early and boy was I glad
14. Yes, its made a right mess of the riverside mate, the Maple blew over on the Thursday, flooded on the Friday, then that was it for about a week - couldn’t get to it as the path was under water!
15. Cheers for the comments guys and the warm welcome back, pictures could have been a lot better as I don’t take the proper camera into work anymore, mainly as promoting the team and what we do was banned by senior management. These were taken with an old Nikon I haven’t used for years, came out alright in the end...
16. Hello! Its been a while.... Thought I’d post a few pictures up from today’s job - a wind-blown Norway maple next to a public right of way here in Worcester. The tree was partially uprooted and leaning against another, we had two choices - MEWP or Matador, the Matador won
17. I’m slightly dismayed that this hasn’t been spotted by visiting UK Arbs before, what kind of a message is this sending out? Am I the only one who was thinking about trees while broadening my European cultural knowledge??
18. Spotted that before the 1st coffee shop, cant remember much after that!
19. I’m sure someone must have spotted this little fella in Amsterdam before, but if they didn’t…….
20. I’ve done it also, popped the old ’64 under the truck at lunch time to keep it out of sight and promptly reversed straight over it – hardly a scratch!
