1. in our thoughts, rest in peace
 2. Jonathan Hobbs who owned redwood trees in Guildford brought that machine off those guys and killed some timber for me in 94-5 It was powered by an air cooled deutz Diesel engine, quite impressive unit at the time. The power pack stayed on the trailer or pick up, you then assembled the guide rails around the timber and 2 of you carried the cutting head to the timber and sat it on the rails, jonno hat 60ft of hydraulic hose with it
 3. The material is called Glassonite, usually sold in 12mm or 18mm thickness sheets
 4. Looking for a mobile sawmill for one day's work in Bushey Cemetry. The work is to convert 8 oak butts into 4 seats by taking one slice off each one to create a flat surface and to cut 10 number 200mmx200mm wheel stops from the remaining timber. Forklift on site to use . The work may be suitable for an Alaskan mill as there is really not that much cutting. Construction site so full PPE required. Payment on completion at end of day but must be done in the next couple of weeks. Please pm if interested or telephone 01483 222811 during office hours
 5. Have a pair of 8ft galvanised ifor ramps you can have, free if you collect from gu23
 6. You can do all the above without lifting the body off, turbo thu passenger wheel arch, alternator and cam belt is all on front of engine and relatively easy to get at, I find them relatively easy vehicles to work on without lifting the body
 7.

The 935 is having a new engine fitted as we speak, control unit is here ready to be fitted.

If you order one you will be surprised how easy it is to fit, hardest part is cutting the hole to mount it into .

Regards jon

Good evening Clive, jon Payne said you may be able to help, I'm looking for someone to plank up about 38 pine logs into waney edge cladding at my yard in Wisley, Surrey - happy to do a deal with 2 cedar butts and balance in cash, or just outright payment.

Regards jon

 9. Looked at doing the same thing on a 7.5t fuso 4x4 and the whole lot weighed nearly 6t empty so not much use on a 6.5t, 13t merc or Man to have any useful payload.
 10. Where did I say fitting a complete auto feed and valving was going to cost 200? The control unit is around 200, what you valving you add to it will of course bump up the price, I first brought one as a straight replacemt for the stress unit on a Jensen 530t that was going to cost over 500 from from Redwood to replace, as it's such a versatile little unit I've since retro fitted them to other chippers as and when the manufactures units have died- will soon be fitting one to a Vermeer 935- a mate has one fitted to his Timberwolf 190 and is using the auto reverse function as the Wolf has an electro valve fitted already- only difficult bit is cutting a 70mm hole to mount it
 11. Not really, fitted one to a TP 250, just replaced the mechanical spool with an electro- hydraulic one- well within the capabilities of many members on here, and good Ag engineers
 12. Great system, will come in at just over £200 delivered - all you need is a simple electric hydraulic valve to dump pump pressure back to tank- flowfit will help you on this- dress control unit can pick up its speed signal from the alternator. Email the chap he will explain it all- fantastic units
