I may be wrong but, surly you must make ALL kit or how can the cert apply? if your rope fails inspection how can you show you have replaced the rope if it is not identified?

I believe you can get to about 22% air drying, I would think putting a meter on the end of a log would give a false reading, you would need to split the log in half and take the reading from the center,IMO.

We have insurance to cover us, it really pee'd me of when people wanted to be bailed out buy the tax payer because they CHOSE not to have insurance and they had lost dishwashers and big TV's ect, I would have paid my insurance premiums before I bought a dishwasher!
