  1. Don't think so, it bolts on to the side of the saw, don't think another saw would fit.
  2. Not sure, is there a 350??
  3. I have bought a Petrol impact gun for undoing wheel nuts and other tight bolts on my mog. It was advertised as having a husky saw as a powerhead. I knew the saw needed many parts to get it up and running, I knew I could get husky parts no problem. Turns out its a Ole mac saw and parts are hard/expensive to come by, any one know of any where that has SH parts and are any of the parts interchangeable with other makes??
  4. So are they not allowed to do that???
  5. Yes but they drive on the road to the land he had in different places.
  6. My local farmer has contractors who come in to make silage and spread slurry, they run on red, but none of it "their land" and its certainly "hire and reward".
  7. How do Ag contractors get away with it then???
  8. No, which is why we have insurance. The scaffold Co may have dropped the clip, but they did not make you run over it with your mower, so I doubt very much that they would be liable.
  9. Well said, IMO Tom I think the "I'm very, very pleased with it" comment is what surprised people. Have I done work like that?? Yes, was I pleased with it?? No. Maybe the back story would have be better posted with the pic, some may think you just made that up after the negative comments.
  10. Who stopped you taking your car test in the last 16 year??
  11. You think he is happy and fulfilled because of other peoples pity:confused1: You make your own luck in this life, you will wait your whole life for your luck to change or for that "break", it will never happen, you need to get out there and make it happen.
  12. An interesting side note to the 20mph speed limit for ordinary tractors, is that thats the reason they cannot go on the motorway. As there is legislation that states in order for a vehicle to go on the motorway they need to be, a) Road worthy, i.e. lights, mudguards, brakes, etc, b) More than 50cc c) capable of doing at least 25mph, on the flat under its own power. An ordinary tractor cannot "legally" comply with the speed requirement, so cannot go on the motorway. People will say its not because of that its down to red diesel or vehicle conformity certificate (or some such thing) but there are other vehicles on the motorway such as mobile cranes, that don't meet these other requirements.
  13. Unimogs are far better, I think the problem you have is your mog is too small. Get yourself a 200hp U1600 and the you'll be sorted
  14. The point I was making is the 70mph limit on the mway is not enforced at all, you need to be doing well over 80 before you'll get pulled, however you are still committing a motoring offence if you exceed 70, but you are very, very unlikely to get done. Just because the police choose not to pull tractors doing over 20, does not mean its not an offence, the legislation clearly states that unless you have air brakes and full suspension (and I think you need directly connected steering, not hydraulic rams) you should not exceed 20mph and are committing an offence if you do.
  15. Most cars in the fast lane of the motorway are doing 80+, I pass police cars at 80 on the motorway, no action is taken but the legal limit is 70.
  16. You are correct, sorry I thought you were saying that mogs and fastracks could not exceed 20mph
  17. No thats not true, 20mph is only for none air brakes and no suspension, on suspension and air brakes, you can exceed 20mph.
  18. While this is true, I think the real reason is HMRC would sooner have less people to chase for their pound of flesh, its much easier for them to deal with one firm with 4 employees than chase each of those employees separately.
  19. That pretty much says it really. IMO this site is great, its great not because of this member or that member, but because of all the members and what they each add, but its here for people to enjoy and gain benefit from, if for any reason people feel they don't wish to be here, just stop posting, take a break for a while and come back when it feels right for you
  20. What model mog do you run?? Mines 245HP and will do 50MPH all day.
  21. Yes I've heard that, I've been told figures as low as 4/6 MPG I believe JCB fitted a HUGE tank to the newer ones so that they can say it will work all day on a single tank
