  1. LOL i think we both had to much coffe last night.
  2. Yeah my timberwolf is connected via v belts
  3. Good night enjoyed the debate
  4. I must admit i do like you up for a good banter commendable. If your serious about this stuff i can go more into it but if your just being an asse i wont bother. A little start thermodynamics is basically the transferr of heat from objects. its the way its transits and how why etc this is all indepth stuff to much to chat on here.
  5. Thats what i said it speeds up a reaction. if you know any thing tell me what a nutreno is They move at the speed of light have no eletrons can pass throught most matter just FYI there subatomic with no mass but now we go into antimatter and dark matter but common its way off beat. I will say this i learn and learn i use the best knowledge i treat trees with great respect and i most certainly do not butcher trees if your so confident post your own work mines on here have a look i know they are good jobs
  6. Well while we are here how about thermo dynamics care to enlighten me. Maybe you know abit about nutrenos hey how about the einstein rosen bridge theory quick go look it up if you need to its about worm holes you no disortions in space time an all that im well into this stuff how gravity plays a big part.
  7. why does rust occur water reacts with air on the iron ok my bad wording oxygen produces reactions not catalist a catalist speeds up the process pressure hold a weak item under water together its like being push in from all angles the deeper you get the more it pushes
  8. Where did you get butchering from none of us have mentioned any thing of the sort So you can throw a few minute things like that at me which i could not possibly post due to the amount of information needed. I can answer no problem well not the bullshit. Can i ask why you are metioning quantum mechanics also what does heat in the universe have to do with this topic other than infra red energy Oh sorry forgot yes light does act as a wave at times and partical at other but im no astro phyisist im a tree surgeon you are in the wrong job.
  9. Yes the wrong book it contains every fckin tree in this country in it tho and abroad not only the tree everything about each tree i have tons of books i do know what im talking about here not saying you dont but for example im sure you know this. Why do we see different colours in tree leafs its due to the physics of sunlight striking the leaf light energy arrives from the sun in the electromagnetic spectrum of wavelengths Because of there structure all objects including leaves selectivly absorb certain wavelenghts and reflect others. It is the reflected light that determines the light we can see. or dont you agree Its the combination of water mixed with air plus bacteria that causes rot. Much like if you leave the bread out the air and moisture in the bread allow bacteria to form or is that wrong. Wood stays preseved under water due to high pressure and no oxygen which is a catalist
  10. No only consultants do that. Not all cells multiply oh bravo im impressed. Were only talking about trees here tho. So your saying that water left on an open wound in a tree does not promote bacteria and infections leading to rot can you let me know that one please.
  11. The tree and shrub expert DR.D.G. Hessayon. for one Pruning training and topiary by richard bird for two. Hows that would you like a photo. Im very sure you dont know as much as Hessayon my freind# I dont tell people any thing they tell me what they want period your a consutant not me. All my work is recommendation repeat work i work for professional gardeners who know there ****. Any way my work is none of your business.
  12. Oh i guess trees think for them selfs do you understand cellular biology. How can you say a tree is not genetically programmed to respond to its enviroment. They are cells by design they multiply. Its not scaremongering at all its fact. Please explain how this is not correct. My old science biology teacher would love this conversation I done a tree last week that had massive weighty limbs one side and tiny ones the other it had a clear lean which worried the customer also mounding at the base. So are you saying i should have said to my customer dont worry about the conservatory the tree will sort itsself out lol.
  13. Yes if rain builds up ontop of a cut it rots the wood you should know this or are you saying thats not right. I have come across many pollarded trees with severve rot due to flat top cuts. read a book mate its exactly why sloping cuts are made.
  14. Trees grow where ever there is sunlight fact the leader follows the light lay a tree down young and the leader will grow up what ever or a side branch will take over and become a leader. Trees dont think there genetically programmed through thousands of years based on previous enviroments. There programmed to the equivalent of our own automatic reactions we sometimes react to things with out our mind controlling us like when you burn your self well trees follows this. This is why there are so many species different enviroments have produced trees to survive. Trees are automatic they do not think there still cellular organisms. They react in a preset mannor to all eventualities.
  15. AA is that arb assosiation i guess in the end all organisations are all about the money mostly. If not it would be free to join.
  16. correct He should find ways to reduce cost of the unit then he will shift more which is the whole idea. Your so dramatic extoriting thats ur word sunny. My entire point in the first place was why is it so expensive?
  17. Impressive that you built that.
  18. LOL ur sarcasism is amusing. But yes a tree works in the same way as a bush or shrub or plant. The only difference is the tool we use to cut them with. They all grow towards the light resond to pruning with epicormic growth i assume you know all this being a tree surgeon. You can always tell what direction a tree has had the most light as the rings on the trunk are thicker the side which sustained the most light im sure you know this just pointing it out. Trees were here long before the chainsaw dont you know that.
  19. No light does not reach every part of a tree thats why they grow in odd directions but always towards the source of light. Thinning out reduces weight taking strain off an old tree also it allows more light into areas where it before could not react which does allow a more even growth. If you leave a tree to grow out of shape its nature is to follow the light in turn it can lead to a one sided over balenced tree they do not self balance. When this happens limbs can break away from the tree resulting in infection and inevitabily death. You cannot stop epicormic growth its the trees naturel defence against losing a limb you can only reduce the growth by leaving growth shoots which allow the tree to flow nutriants to the shoots thus reducing the trees need to sprout new shoots to survive. I follow this method similar to pruning shrubs always leave buds where possible and slope the cut leading away from the bud so when it rains the water runs away from the bud. I cut for the benifit of the tree more than the owner they understand this and prefer it around here. This is just my method many may not agree .
  20. I use a groundie to raise it up to me and then just clip it onto my harness. But if you had the grcs device you could raiase it up with that and leave it attached over a branch and hey you dont have to support its weight.
  21. If you looked properly and actually read i said is it direct or belt drive also i think not i know.
  22. Ok to clear the wood from the trees. At the end of the day im fully entitled to my own opinion. A decent manufacturer listens to the people who may buy there product. Feed back is how new things get improoved on if every one just said that will do we would still be using bow saws. (Why make a chainsaw a bow saw works) dont reply negativly if you dont understand the above.
  23. Hey i meant is it bolted direct to the engine or are belts used. I think my TW is direct drived engine to flywheel via rotor shaft. as long as you have sharp cutters direct drive is fine as you said dont thrash look after.
  24. I just got 2001 TW 6inch Never used a greenm Are they flywheel or belt
  25. Hey 18 cheers for that input I would charge £300 a day to rent out. I look at it like a wage for me going in and chipping also i would include one load i take away at that price. The same as you i guess. What machiene you got.
