  1. Put the chains close to where it was hung up. Tighten and sever at the Base. 100tonn Hiab would pizz that in 5mins after setup.
  2. No He probably could have tripped that tree out, but didn't seem to have a grasp of advanced climbing techniques. So he made a series of bad decisions that resulted in the accident. It's been said before, there were no targets under the tree,so whether he tripped it by climbing or cut and winched made no odds. Over here I would have used a big hiab and lifted it out. Mainly because the road was already closed and the truck could remove the timber. But none of us were on that site, however by the number of eager camera men,his plan had been widely communicated.
  3. That's the last kin thing I would want to use.
  4. Because honestly they probably don't have the expertise. Dealing with an importer/ retailer is probably the best route, always along the line someone will be getting a slice. Retired top brass don't spend all their time on the grouse Moor and golf course
  5. SA80 was made by HK in the end I think? The Sig is decent,I fired one years ago when piston driven AR variants were all the rage. AR15s are possibly the world's most researched and developed Rifle in history at this point in time. I bet the Generals were getting regularly fellated by HK since they already had a foot in the door. But the 416 is mentally expensive in comparison to any other platform I know of. It's a loverly gun and should be for the price, however apart from the cool factor it's still just another piston driven AR.
  6. No idea But the £5k will include, everything from armourers courses to optics and weapons racks. Some initial parts too like trigger springs, gas tubes ,barrel nuts ,extractors etc.
  7. Those " kin" comments. Is linked-in a retard kindergarten or something?
  8. Anyhow,my SUV has a 5.7 liter fuel injected V8,leather interior with a little fold out picnic table in the middle between the seats, cup holders, heated pneumatic seats,7 ashtrays and uses ungodly amounts of fuel but what else is petrol made for?
  9. Well that's only really relevant if the SUV is driving down the footpath.
  10. Well no. See how long your 1.7liter focus lasts when loaded with tree gear, pulling a tracked chipper on a trailer. I tried that when I first started. 2 liter volvo diesel estate. It was comfy but not fit for purpose, nor was the VW caddy. I bought a 1990 6.2 liter Diesel Chev Suburban and it's still going now albeit with new owners. Must be over 400,000km on it now. If car makers built robust vehicles we would need fewer of them.
  11. Move away.
  12. Can you criticise Christianity or Hindu's in the UK?
  13. Why though? Do they not share the same sized engine as a mid sized estate? If you are looking at it from a pollution/ emissions stand point. Pleasure boats are the worst, followed by private light aircraft.
  14. He also married his first Cousin who was 20 years his junior.
  15. The tree in your last picture looks like a Macrocarpa.Interesting pictures!
  16. I was quietly stripping a series three landy he had up the bank to keep mine running. He was a tosser .
  17. Stumps are one of the few ways you can add value to a tree job. However I have ground out exactly one stump in the 17 years I have been in Norway. It used to be a good earner for my old boss in the states though.
  18. Well it is Ukraine that they are fighting for after all. Or would you prefer " equal opportunities casualties?" Ukraine is Europe's problem. Europe will be forced into handling it.
  19. These rights are conditional, just like the UK. Try marching onto a military base and attempting to exercise you right to assemble, protest and speak freely.Likewise you cannot walking into someones home and argue with them,or assemble in their Garden.Argue with a Judge,"but your honor is my right to argue with you". Trump is restoring an element of common sense to a landscape that was polluted by endless "woke-isum" ,BLM, and ANTIFA ,antics.Furthermore he is doing so with the support of the 77 million Americans who voted for him.Dont like it? Then immigrate to America and vote Democrat in the next election.
  20. If I lived in the PNW I would get a Hobbs too. Most of the rigging is negative blocking down of Conifer and your wasting the extra money on a GRCS using it as a bollard.
  21. You are once again pushing the boundaries of the term " talking bollocks". You speak " hyper-sonic bollocks". Untruths so vast and fast moving, they tear the very air they pass through. You miss the point by nautical miles as the bollocks you speak climbs towards the heavens at Mach5.
  22. So. Back to my original point.Ukraine is the second largest country in Europe after Russia.
  23. What " little country" are you talking about? Ukraine is the second largest country in Europe after Russia.
  24. Breathtaking Gary.
