  2. umm your making me think now, i dont want a cortizone because like you said.... 1 way path!!!! but it isnt in to the bone/joint, its the band that supports the tendons and stops them moving all over the shop, so maybe its a different injection, i will find out tho!!
  3. sure is, happy diwalli!!!!! this country has gone down hill, im not really racist except for some................ but i had hardly seen a black/indian/pakistani/sumalian person b4 i was 12!!!!! now there the majority, dont get me wrong maybe it is good to be multi-cultural but when you walk in a shop and you KNOW they are talking about you and are rally rude it just ***** me off, we should be like britany(excuse the poor spelling) if you live there you have to learn the language and fit in....
  4. i posted this to maybe help others, ive opened myself and my friend up for critisim, if people are then going to start using this against him then i will have this thread totally removed, its shame that some people have to think like they do....................... im not posting his name or ward or where he is or whatcompany he was working for now..... but for those who are genuine i will pass on your ''get wells''

  7. you are joking right?? do you have teeth? every body eats crap but id sooner have 2 apples that a packet of crisps, but i take both and as i cant eat proper meat(just the processed ****) i eat just about every veg and fruit there is and enjoy them, the amout of kids that get way with out eating there 'sprouts just because they eat there meat is unbelieveable!!!!!!!! i even met someone the other day who doesnt like roast parsnips!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crazy!!!!!
  8. the tree had a 10% lean in the direction of fall, i think he was using a stihl260 with a 15''bar the tree was about 50ft tall and around a 12'' at the felling point, im not 100% on how it dropped on him but as it split it pivioted about 15'' up the tree and dropped off the side he was standing, the guy is 27 and had about 5 months experience with a saw, so thats why we always had someone standing with him for cuts.... after he was carted away i should of maby got a few photosa of how it split and landed but didnt think as we was more interested in getting him out and a clear path for the ladys in green.... another thing that bugs me is why they sent 2 oldish ladies to a man in a shelter belt, lets just say it was a good job a few blokes where there to lift him out on the spine board!!!!!

  20. thats the thing matey, he rushed and didnt wait, he has his tickets and this was about the only leaning tree there, i know it was a crack willow but every one has to do one at some time or another!!!! it all could of possibly been avoided if he didnt just stand there and watch it split, then barber chair and drop on him, but i do think if he had kept cutting or droped and ran this could of been avoided, i wasnt there personally but arrived 30 mins later, oh and the ambulance came from syston which is 20 miles away rather than oakham where we was!!! and there is a bigish ambulance station in oakham!!!!!! he goes in for his op tomorrow for plates and pins!!!! i bet he is shitting him self!!!
  21. 2 days ago my work matey was out with another lad, now he is a little inexperienced and was with a well experienced lad, to gain some experience he was felling a large amount of the 'crack willows' so the story goes, the older lad moved the tractor out the way incase anything went wrong(famous last words) he turned around to see the other lad felling the tree, as he cut the leaning tree split out and didnt keep cutting, befor the old guy could do anything it dropped on the younger lad. he was in a bad way, still under the tree he had to be cut out immediatly, the ambulance took 55 mins to get there (total and utter discrace and a formal complaint has been filed) when they arrived the said he had a broken pelvis, broken arm and smashed ankel!!!!! this man was in serious pain and went straight to leicester royal infirmary!!! and it turns out he will be there for the next 4 weeks!!!! this has hit the company hard and makes you realise how dangerous this job is, in my opinion if he hadnt of been triger happy and waited for someone to stand and help him then it might of been avoided but then god only knows what was going on inside his head and the treee at that time!!!! and i hope he makes a full recovery and learns from his mistakes take care
