  2. if its on a boundary then does that mean its in no mans land of is it in their garden? ive had experiences with the council bein the first to try and get the closest occupier to pay rather than them

  5. went to college for 2 years to become a grease monkey, then my dad met a new lady and here brother in law worked for mr barrell, wasnt long befor i asked him to bring his ropes over because it looked fun!!!!!! 3 weeks later i was going to a college and working for a aa approved company in leicestershire, i think it was a case of right man at the right time!!!!! never looked back, now 4 yrs on im self imployed making a decent wage

  11. the wind wasnt in the right direction, one gust traped my saw on a tiny bit and i had to wait 5 mins for the blusts to stop b4 i could get it out!! i didnt go higher than i needed to:awink: any yeah the saws 3 days old!!!!!! goes a treat

    if i used to get a cut i wouldnt be bothered or if i fell out a tree and smashed my arm id still stay out till dark,i knnow im only still young myself at 23 but even when i was 10 i could still go out on my own and nobody would be worried, its only the past 7 or 8 years that things have changed dramatically!!!
  17. yeah we all do it but dont you just think its easier to put a strop around and sit back so that you can get a cleaner cut?
  18. one of the blokes i work for has a special grinding tool, i bet it would be very hard with a angle grinder to get a parallel edge
  19. if there is a stopper peg on the higher branch you can do a simple single hitch and cut the bottom branch fist so it tightens up on the above branch and then cut the higher branch off, never done it with anything too big tho, just comes handy in lime street trees
