  2. does not really say how long or other stuff i think i will find out more and for now leave them sat on floor suspended by harness till i know more will keep all informed

  6. i was in agony with a dislocated shoulder that had been out for 3 hours but managed to take my brand new kayak dry cag off nearly passed out
  7. yes leave them partially suspended if your over 15mins though you can can release pressure from the harness when you first reach the nuppet
  8. how many of you are aware of suspension trauma if you rescued a guy over 15mins which is not long to get your kit put it on get to the casualty and get to the floor and you then released the pressure from the harness the toxins built up would surge through the body killing them

    if you know a decent welder they could extend them i have altered every set i own 4 sets i think and my favorites were the cheapest but put some nice top pads on that makes a massive difference as does length

    my main rope is only 25metres but have longer ones supprising how often 25 is just enough i hate pulling loads of rope through and groundies tripping over it also have 35m 40m and a 50m
  11. have got grcs cocoon spiderjack BG 86 and other goodies

  13. had a look at the SG 86 which is the same as the BG 86 but with vac attachment and it seems bloody marvelous the engine moves around whithin the framework did not start it but recon stihl have set the standard and cornered the market for the blowers for moi and many others am looking forward to using one and i hate clearing up
  14. how you look after them and how much you abuse/push them to ther limits maters more than how old they are mine is now 10 years old and bought it 5 years ago and never let me down but i mend things before they break at my job we have 3 which get little maintenance and have lots more problems ie i change my blades every 3 days regardless wash and grease ect even polished it this week

  17. they are good for clipping high if you prize off the gate if not i would be very carefull having it close to your side Ds in case you accidently clip the wrong one like some one i know i use one round the back for slings and its spot on for moi

  21. no did not strip that far as bearing were done about 80 hrs ago my mate did most i stripped down and rebuilt and helped as much as poss and i supplied the hob nobs
  22. it was a strip down to see how bad it was all the base was good mainly side and front panels that had litterly rotted away though they looked in ok condition before but in the panels they had rockwool which had been damp and rotted from the inside had it done whilst i went skiing
  23. decided to repair and respray chipper which was preventative measures till we took it apart and started with the grinder
