about 9 years ago we were actually moving into new house on christmas eve so did not go out on the lash at 6pm just as we finished unloading i got called out till 5 am then back out at 8am till 4pm just sat down for my tea and went out again till late then similar on boxing day was not a good one could not get anyone to help all too drunk so just had my office boss who did not use a saw Got a police escort most of the time Have missed 3 christmas dinners in the past I once remember waking up a posh house at 3 am christmas morning to tell them to move there cars that had not been squashed (range rover had) and all the kids were on the landing balcony and my boss went HO HO HO still makes me smile

I work for the LA and they have a call out system with highways the police and fire brigade and they all have our contact details When i lived with my parents my mum always nearly fainted when the phone went in the middle of the night and they said this is west yorkshire police could i speak to your son

If Tachyon was too thin for you i would consider a different rope to blaze as blaze is thinner than Tachyon

well i am not going either just got back in from doing storm call all day and a lot of last night shame really was looking forward to meeting a few of the lads i have not met. And seeing dean drunk and winding him up would of been good. Hope you all have a good time

seems like it was just me then was out again till 3 .30am then back out from 8.30 till 4 pm so sorry to say not going to the get together now

just got back in from been called out by the police to several fallen trees. Any one else been out this driving rain and windy evening? i am just hoping i get a bit of sleep tonight otherwise will be asleep tomorrow

hope your still coming tomorrow night and not using that as a poor excuse. i would avoid any serious fighting Did you cut the twig off after that????? Did you have your visor down????? when i first started we had a rule if it poked you 3 times cut it off Nowadays if i think it may poke me i cut it off

i used to work with a DSWA Master Craftsman and used to do quite a lot including quals and comps till i took a big job that was like the great wall of china not done anything other than gapping since that looks a good job there dean well done looks like your better at walling than prunning:001_tt1:

rang back and ordered another 20 metres this morning would of thought you could recognise a rope you owned peter but i suppose it was disguised:001_tongue: yes it was a lot easier to mark up for splicing and for the record i do not have any marlow rope

well done Tommy you win the prize for been this weeks rope guru this is more commonly known as herkulees made by liros which is an all black prussick cord in 10mm that MBS is over 22kn so can be used as a blakes type split tail Honey brothers i believe have exclusivity on this brighter version I use it through a cinch as a work strop so the brighter honey bee will be better than the all black and underneath the rope was a new cinch all for a mate i,m afraid
