    Signs

Tripod roll-ups. Great for joining footpaths, parks etc. p.s Just make sure you get the large ones. Smalls on the market don't comply with highways.
  3. Don't own one, always hire.
  4. Has anyone ever been stoped for overloading? Don't know anyone that has.
  5. looked a nice one. Why was it removed?
  6. Glen, remember that 'someone we know' said he couldn't use one as it hurt his hands! ha ha Don't know about hands but using one for any period of time can be a work out.
  7. Used one out of EWP for line clearance in Aus. Ran off hydraulics out the bucket. A little under powered but nice and quite.
  8. Use it a lot! ideal for lifting and getting out of tricky hung-up or wind blown stuff.
  9. I'll be playing Euro millions tommorrow night, who wants to join a syndicate?

  11. Here only AA aproved get the work. I think they should spread it across the board. Give every one a bit of work.
  12. Ivy covers the hidden dangers, you never know whats going on with the wood underneath the stuff!
  13. used to work for them at head depo crawley down, when i started (1998)they were still called southern tree surgeons, a company bill matthews started way back. Bartlett (yanks) bought him out. from what i hear they have an extreamly high turnover of staff...may be the fact they make you buy you're own saw.
  14. :icon14:good stuff. More planting. I always try and sell the customer a replacement if we fell. Some don't seem to want another tree though.....weirdo's:thumbsdown:

    4X4 Tippers

the main reason for my interest in the go anywhere tipper was to be able to quote for off road work. Every winter I have to turn away work as it's un-achiveable with my set up. Also i'm up to my ears in mud at the yard, the truck hardly makes it in there these days. Oh well can't claim every job, i should concentrate on getting the jobs i can do!!!

    4X4 Tippers

what are the downers of working it on a trailer? the reach of feeding it i guess? does the hopper sit low?

    4X4 Tippers

The track chipper on the low trailer sounds a great idea. Only take it off when you need to, Genius! It maybe the case that the thing jumps around a bit on a low tray like that, and ground clearance might be an issue.
