  1. When you sit in it after breakfast your getting very close to the limit.
  2. Doesn't mean they shouldn't have been... I have lost count of the times I have ended up underpricing big trees, especially with limited access.. You end up working your nuts off for peanuts.. But it does sound expensive...
  3. Bronto Skylift 32 Metre MDT Truck Mounted Cherry Picker Access Platform (2003) WWW.EBAY.CO.UK 4200 boom hours. Boom fully serviced until April 2020 by Bronto... This could make a useful addition for a tree firm. Use as a MEWP or with a 2000kg hook..
  4. Especially when they use wet wood to dry it and cut down native forests in eastern Europe and transport it hundreds of miles..
  5. It is quite normal.. Often get business owners asking to do a job at their home and wanting to put it through the business. I refuse to actively be part of their fraud. I will omit an address and invoice a business, but I would not put works at an address where I had not worked..
  6. How long do the batteries hold their charge? Thinking of getting one to keep in the car for when quoting. I don't often work on the tools any more but occasionally I have a 5 min job or call out that I could easily do if I had a saw with me and it works out expensive for me to send a team.. I carry a silky already..
  7. Thanks for the advice, turns out there is a small inline fuel filter that needed a quick clean..
  8. This is how we deal with arb waste, but it is not really worth doing, especially now as the price of the wood for biomass keeps going up.. What with the 20% moisture content requirement I can't see small scale firewood production being commercial viable in the coming years. s
  9. man 6x6 tractor unit hiab crane lorry WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Scanreco hiab remote system fitted 2 years ago crane and fly jib... This could make a use full addition to someone's fleet.. Contemplating blowing my bounce back loan..
  10. The air filter was checked.. The smoke is not from chip or belts.. It is coming out of the spout but I believe the exhaust exits through there..
  11. How concerned should I be? Our 400hr Vermeer bc1000xl is smoking lots when on full revs. Not seen it myself but they are pretty sure its not belts..
  12. He could just run it across his land, still cutting all the roots, potentially leaving your trees unstable in years to come. There is very little you can do about it and proving it was damage caused by his utilities going in many years later is likely to be impossible... Try and come to an amicable solution is my advice. You dont look to have many neighbours...
  13. It can be done, but if done without care all your concerns are valid.. NJUG_vol_4_issue_2.pdfNJUG.pdf
  14. I have no idea, I have never used any of them, I imagine similar faults/breakages.. We have stopped buying them as although they are well liked by the climbers they do not hold up the abuse that employees subject them too.. I expect they would last considerably better when used by someone who paid for them..
  15. No I don't. Morsø S81-90 MORSOE.COM The Morsø S81 is a different and exciting insert, specially designed for smaller rooms. The frame is not included in the price.
  16. We found this was a problem in our narrow living room, so went for a morso inset stove.
  17. When the log is too heavy for 1 loader.. Biggest log should be 3.6 ton according to calculator.. VID-20200519-WA0002.mp4
  18. Yes, I have emailed him the pics
  19. Using the annoyingly imperial wood calculator comes in at around 13 tons. Timber and Lumber Calculators at WOODWEB WWW.WOODWEB.COM Timber and Lumber Calculators at WOODWEB
  20. We have had a clear out and have a load of dead saws. Any idea on value as a job lot..? This is an estimate as some are just a boxes of bits.. 084 2x 044 (One might be a 441 or even an 064) 3X 026 3x261 3x200t in bits 3x150t in bits Husqvarna 61 Many will have had bits missing especially plastics and the bars are almost all gone. Some have been dead for years. We are not mechanics and as soon as something is deemed economically not worth fixing we junk it but keep it for spares. We have too many spares now..
  21. £50k deposited in our account today.. Scary how easy the process was..
  22. Better pic of the 3m logs from smaller long dead tree..
