  2. Vw for me, I have an ex AA one pulls like a train. I know someone who has 600k on there clock and original engine he just looks after it. I did look at a merc veto but they where rough and rusty looking compared to the vw same age.

  7. I would say £100 without the stump, as I would guess you would have to burn the climbers as archway = nails. Digging out stump £100 at least because there never easy.

  13. I would of thought it would overheat as it will still be 20amp, would there be anyway of running a cable from fuse board to another smaller fuse board 40' away. Then having x2 10amp fuses coming from that into your kiln. I'm sure you can get waterproof fuse boards or box if outside. My workshop is on a 32amp fuse at my home , which leads to a box in the workshop which has a 16amp and a 6amp fuse for sockets and lights.
  14. Hope this is what your on about For a long run like that I would use 3 core 2.5 armored cable especially if outside as the normal 2.5 cable you will get problems with it tripping out after a while. I assume the 40' is the distance to the fuse board?
