  1. The question you should be asking yourself is why not.
  2. Same sizes I used but different site a few years back.

  4. That will be classed as a ladies one then , looking good. Just similar to making skittles I guess.
  5. They are made in 1kg, 1.5kg and 3kg sets usually with lead weights in the bottom, then you can get custom ones made which are heavier and a lot wider. I have made a set before , shame the pictures are on my old hard drive which I can't recover.
  6. Thanks, that's the roller ball I do, I can also do a fountain pen. The Components on that one are 24ct gold plated. The others are gunmetal and rhodium.
  7. Someone's been watching finding Nemo 😁, great work tho.

  13. TBH if they want an hourly rate then you know they will be clock watching and a pain, or the job to small that it needs a rate like that. Or just price the job.
  14. If they want an hourly rate £25, otherwise price per job.
  15. Have a look here, http://www.kierson.co.uk/index.php?p=1_7_Draughtproofing
  16. I would say the window that's out is about 6ft in height and bloody heavy lol.
  17. At the moment I'm doing some work on a grade 2 listed building, sash windows. Renewing cord, glass, weights, pulleys etc
  18. Managed to sneak a pen in after work,
  19. I can't see what all the fuss is about........No one has died from yew or laburnum wood, animals eating leaves / berries (seeds) yes but probably ate quite a bit as they do. Be careful with dust when sanding, but same as other timbers. If it was really that bad it wouldn't be allowed to be sold as goblets, chopping boards, utensils . A question.....what happens if you apply food safe oil to it.
