  5. with the turning i do and sell i need to be careful, still researching tho. The link to the chestnut products i found are the best i've found so far, just tried out there woodwax 22 bloody fantasic buffs up nice and shiney and it's safe to put on kids toys too .

I would be careful with tung oil on food based products too as wiki says; Food contact and allergic reactions As the source of tung oil is a nut, people with nut allergies often report adverse reactions to contact with (or even the odour of) tung oil. Reactions can be severe in some cases. While tung oil has been used for many centuries as a finish for kitchen items such as wooden bowls and cutting boards, some individuals must avoid its use. Some oils go ransid as well after a few mths, so still need to be careful what people put on.

  9. Just found out why my heaters are crap No WATER Just filled it up and it's peeing out the bottom. So i know what i'm doing today:001_rolleyes:
  10. I use small coach bolts screws into bark like cork screw if screwed the timber closes around it, so less water gets to it
  11. I just go out half hr before with a heater on an extension lead, toasty warm
  12. They come in aroll of 5 for £5 you can only buy in 5's
  13. If in doubt drill a bigger hole Only joking Have you used one before i would go one a course well worth it:001_smile:
  14. Can't you change the heater to an oil one, or hook it up to the electric to warm engine and plug inside with heater to warm cab
