It's a shite situation in those parts with the real potential to flare up into something much, much bigger, and vitriol like the shite above isn't going to help things one way or another. From my perspective it looks like genocide in Palestine is occurring in clear sight, which is a bit of a lousy state of affairs for 2023. It's good for arms exports I'd imagine though.

We should also factor in mind that we can't trust any video we see as AI can realistically portray whatever you suggest it should. I'm not going full on tin-foil over this by the way, you know as well as I do that the media have their own narrative, I think it's prudent to keep an open mind.

Not really. The way I see it is you're either against killing bairns or for killing bairns, it doesn't matter what colour skin they have or where they're from. My thoughts are that the Israeli response to Hamas' atrocities is overkill in every sense of the word and that we should be vocal in our opposition to it - by saying nothing you are pretty much condoning the levelling of Gaza and all that goes with it. If the Israeli Zionist regime is hell bent on destroying Gaza they should just nuke the place instead of prolonging the suffering of millions - they won't do that though as it would affect their metrics and irradiate the land for future 'settlers'.

It's a lousy state of affairs. @Mike Hill do you reckon that Hamas blew the hospital up with stray missiles as they are now reporting or do you reckon the Israelis did it as first reported?

Rumours abound that the IDF were well aware of planned incursions by Hamas and did nothing. It's unlikely we'll ever find out the truth. What I do think is that anyone defending or justifying the murder of children and innocent adult civilians on either side of Israel's apartheid wall wants their sick heads read.

Those tickets will get you a foot in the door. Minimum wage for a 40hr week is £21,673.60. You need to decide how you want to go about it. You could likely get in with one of the 'bigger' firms and work with them for a year or two, if it's a decent outfit they will have decent climbers/groundies that you will learn a lot from plus they will also likely have the resources to allow you to practise aerial stuff as part of your work, they will most likely want a 40hr week though and may not be attractive to the better climbers out there. When I got into tree work I worked with a smaller outfits from the outset (I only went to a bigger firm for six months while a shoulder injury healed), the benefits of smaller outfits are that they usually have decent climbers/groundies, you can learn a great deal by carefully watching what they do, also many of them prefer to work 'job and knock' which suits arboriculture. A down side is that there might not be too much scope for practicing things due to time/money constraints. Getting utility tickets is something to look into once you're happy up a tree and on the ground with a saw. I think that contacting local firms and seeing if they need a groundie would be a good way to go about it in the first instance. Aboriculture is quite a small world, most people know someone who has worked with someone else, if you build up a good reputation you will be on your way to better money. Best of luck!
