  1. I need to try some.
  2. Nice one Drew, the core can be removed and the video is valid.
  3. I've not seen that cord before, I'm assuming the core is not for strength, But disregard the splicing video until I find out more.
  4. Incredible amount of scrap collectors around here, they will take anything that they can lift, they may be doing us all a favour what with all the tidying an all.
  5. I am confused but never mind you need to watch this Video by Nick Araya, he will show you how to splice an eye in your cord. How To Splice a Whoopie Sling With Yalex | Craft Businesses | Howcast.com
  6. Eh? That link shows a 12 strand hollow braid which is very easy to splice, what have you got then? If it has a core then it's not the rope on your link, do you have a picture?

  17. Two day nightmare mercenry job for a guy I have never worked for before, re-reduce Turkey Oak, everything hanging up, rope getting caught, cars, people, noisy builders shouting all the time, horrible.
  18. No it's not.
  19. It's difficult for the elite Andy, they can't help themselves.
  20. Vermisilitude, interesting word, bit early though for myself to get my head round what you actually mean by using it, do you mean suspend your disbelief of the method? I need more coffee. Anyway, how are you my SRT freak friend, how is the Thompson Tree Tool? Are you still splicing?
  21. That's why I would always be dubious of working off a single rope, that and you've really got to trust the guys on the ground not to cut that single line.
  22. No it hasn't.
  23. It's a rope made by Yale.
  24. I have no idea.
