Hello Jamie, I got some stuff from Jimmy Greens and thanks to you and Nick posting on the house I now know to stitch the cross over point which makes one hell of a difference, also massaging and bending, I made a splice this afternoon with none of the problems I have been having.
What tips for making an eye to eye prussic cord?
Cheers, Carl.

I went to Jimmy greens about a year ago and bought a universal fid and a fid for three strand which I have been doing since being taught at college, my mother lives close to beer so next time I go I will have a rummage.
By the way where can I find instructions for Yale xtc eye splice?

Well I might be tempted if things start slowing down anymore, three days this week and I am finally getting a bad vibe about things.
Have a good weekend.

Hello Reg, I have a large dead redwood removal in February, rigging the limbs out in the normal way then using a crane for the stem, I have only done two removals with a crane before and am a little rusty, chain positioning will be crucial and was wondering if you had any tips?

Hello Mate, I trust you had a good time?
I got a large dead Redwood to remove in Feb, one day normal rigging for the branches then a crane next day for the stem, have sent Reg a PM asking for tips, should be fun, four hundred and fifty quid for myself.

Hello Jamie, I am struggling with the 16 strand eye splice, I made a wire fid but it's not very good, what do you use? I can't believe how much rope it takes to make a 16 strand eye splice. Regards, Carl.

Hello mate do you have any plans on getting Donaghys to send over some reels of rope?
