  1. avatar pics need to be no bigger than 200X400 pixels, make sure its resized to somewhere around that, should be what the problem is. and you will need to delete one of those pics im afraid, 3 entries per person
  2. i always found the distel acted like that, despite playing around with many configurations...i moved swiftly onto a better knot.

  6. your concern about the structural properties of chestnut is valid....however i find these things to be in proportion, ie....although the wood may be more brittle than some, it is also lighter, meaning theres often no need to get as far out on the limbs, you can work larger pieces, wether that be by lowering, cut and chuck, whatever.....same goes for lime etc.
  7. i used one just the other day for the first time rupe, probably the same one you have, the combi system. i was surprised how nice the hedge cutter was....kinda wierd at first as the engine isnt sceaming its guts out you expect it to not cut. sorry can offer no input regarding the engine!

  10. even a little tool box. looks smart mate...pick ups often look crap wth tipper bodies, that seems to work well though

  16. Ok guys, plenty of fungi showing up in the woods at the moment and plenty pics have already been posted so lets have a little competition! So pretty obvious really, fungi pictures only....maximum of 3 entries per person and unfortunately also limited to uk entrants. 1st prize is a Britool torque wrench complete with case. 2 runner ups will each recieve a Timberwolf knife Closing date for entries is October 10th 6pm Choose your pics wisely!!
