  6. bob.....can you video the cuting through one of those steel core lanyards alongside a rope strop?? i have this arguement severa; times with people who insist you can cut through steel core as quickly as rope...i just dont buy it

  10. oh, when learning to sharpen make sure you always use a sharp file. struggling with blunt files will throw your technique out before you even learn it

  14. ok theres 101 tips...i'll start the ball rolling with what i consider to be probably the mst important 2. 1. make sure your chain is tensioned properly 2. find the bluntest tooth first, sharpen that tooth then proceed to sharpen every other tooth giving them all the same ammount of strokes with the file.

  17. hi rebecca, and thanks for joining. sorry to hear about your climber.....its fine to post your job here, looks like its also in the employment forum also. sounds a good position, hope you find someone worthy of it.
  18. i dont think heels make a huge ammount of difference for me personally. i used to climb with oregon greens which have next to no heel.....never had a problem with spikes slipping. as for general climbing i am normally on the balls of my feet so again, i dont see a heel being helpful there
  19. im confused too. if you're footlocking yuou would have your line going over a crotch and both lines coming back to the ground. you footlock both lines together.
